My local MP Alison Penfold, the member for Lyne, has done more for women’s sex-based rights in her first year as an elected member of parliament than nearly all of the rest put together.
For several years, even before she was elected, I worked alongside her as she attempted to get sex defined in the Sex Discrimination Act.
This week she tabled a bill and got everyone talking about the failures of the Act that have seen women like Sall heavily penalised for speaking and acting on biological reality.
Labor must now explain why they refuse to act and protect women’s sex-based rights.
