About Us

The Bendigo Rainbow Hub is a community-led wellbeing service providing safe, affirming, and inclusive allied health care to LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, and the broader Bendigo community. We believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported by clinicians who understand who they are. As we grow, we're building a multidisciplinary team that reflects our values: equity, identity-affirming practice, and genuine community connection.

The Role

Psychologist (Provisional or Fully Registered) — Deliver evidence-based therapy to clients presenting with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related distress, neurodivergence, and relationship concerns. We welcome both provisionally registered psychologists completing their internship or higher degree, and fully registered psychologists. Experience with LGBTQIA+ affirming and neuroaffirming practice is highly valued. Experience with cognitive testing, autism assessments, and ADHD assessments is also highly valued.

What You'll Bring

  • AHPRA registration — provisional or general
  • A commitment to LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practice
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Lived experience and/or demonstrated allyship warmly welcomed
  • New graduates encouraged to apply — mentorship and multidisciplinary supervision provided

What We Offer

  • Flexible hours, hybrid options
  • A supportive, neuro-affirming, and LGBTIQA+ affirming team
  • Warm, welcoming clinic space
  • Flexible start dates with psychologists able to start immediately if desired

We're happy to chat informally first — call Mr Michael Brew on (03) 5449 7610 for a confidential conversation.

The Bendigo Rainbow Hub strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people of colour, trans and gender-diverse people, and people with disability. We acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work.
