GiveOUT Day is Australia’s national day of giving to LGBTQIA+ causes — a powerful opportunity to come together and make a real difference for rainbow communities.
Only 5 cents out of every $100 donated in Australia goes to LGBTQIA+ charities. Together, we can change that. Despite incredible progress, LGBTIQA+ people still experience disproportionate rates of mental ill health, isolation, homelessness, and economic marginalisation.
We know that community-led solutions are best placed to tackle these challenges — but the LGBTQIA+ sector remains chronically underfunded. GiveOUT Day helps bridge that gap by raising awareness, growing networks, and providing vital resources to organisations that make change happen every day.
This year, all donations to Proud 2 Play are being matched, meaning your support will have double the impact. Every dollar goes toward creating safer, more inclusive sporting spaces |

Proud 2 Play is the only organisation in Australia that provides direct support to LGBTIQA+ people facing discrimination in sport and recreation, while working with clubs, organisations, and governments to make sport safer and more inclusive for everyone.
Your donation helps us: Support individuals who have been excluded or mistreated in sport.
Equip clubs and organisations to take meaningful action on inclusion.
Run programs that create visibility, belonging, and opportunities for LGBTIQA+ people to thrive through sport.
