Midsumma has arrived, and with it comes the Victorian Pride Centre’s vibrant Midsumma Program lineup 🌈✨
From January through February, the Centre will be alive with events celebrating LGBTIQA+ creativity, culture and community. Adding to the festivities, the Y Series Pop-Up Bar will be open throughout the season, serving all your festival favourite drinks.
We’re kicking things off in style with the Midsumma Program Launch Party, an evening of dancing, drinks and a first look at everything on this year’s program. Across January, there’s plenty to discover, from queer history at AQuA and the TiPS Speakers Showcase to queer filmmaking workshops, bold and brilliant theatre, VPC abseiling, Lesbirun takeovers, the Chemist Warehouse Rooftop Party, and bookish delights from Hares & Hyenas.
On Pride March Day, make the Centre your base at the Rainbow Recharge Hub. Watch the march livestream with JOY Media, unwind in the air-conditioned Theatrette, and recharge before heading up to our much-loved rooftop afterparty, complete with DJs and a Sunday Sizzle.
With so much happening, there’s no shortage of ways to connect, celebrate and explore this Midsumma season. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Centre and see you out and about across Naarm.
