With a new group forming in the west I think this is a good idea to
share our experiences around starting/sustaining/facilitating KM
Communities.

What advice/pearls of wisdom would you share with someone embarking on
the KM group facilitation journey?

What tricks and traps have you experienced? What are some recommended
resources/people?

I'll collate these into a page in the Google Group site. Could even
look at putting them in a wiki if we get to that.

Thanks in advance for you all contributing. I think we will all learn
something from this exercise.

This is very helpful.

Hi all, I'd like to introduce myself to this group.

I have recently founded the WAKIF (WA Knowledge and Innovation Forum).
We are due to meet this month to establish a charter, ground rules
etc.

If any of you have any contacts over here who would like to join, have
any advice on setting up and getting up to speed so we can add to the
ongoing KM with you all, that would be much appreciated.

We don't have a website as yet, but we're working on that. Meanwhile,
feel free to email me on simon...@minterellison.com

Cheers, Simon
