Could be worth supporting, particulary for the QLD forum.

James,

Thanks for this. I plan on attending and will pass on my comments.
(There is also an event in Facebook)

It seems it will be free but have asked if they would like support of QKM.

How have others handled 'endorsing' events or products?

Thanks

All -

Cory asked: "How have others handled 'endorsing' events or products?"

The Melbourne KMLF is a non-profit (read "no money") group.  We very stringently restrict our mailing list to invitation to our own events only - that is our contract with the membership base.  However, we do also have our blog site at http://www.melbournekmlf.org/.  We have now started to accept requests to publicise events on the blog that may be of interest to the members.  We publish "non-profit" events gratis, but we are now requesting a small donation to publicise any commercial events.  This then goes towards expenses for our events.

In terms of "endorsing" in any way other than publicity, I don't think that we have quite worked that out yet...

Regards,

 - Keith.
