Happy Memorial day weekend!

Please find below the events we're tracking for calendar year 2024. If you've got a seitei Jodo event planned, by all means let us know with an e-mail to jo...@auskf.org so we can promote it!

June – Portland, Oregon
Hoshu Dojo is hosting a 1.5 day event under the PNKF that includes a Jodo shinsa, and Jodo seminar. Instructors include Thomas Groendal Renshi 6D, Steve Luis 6D, Marcus Phung 5D, Levon Sukiassyan 4D, Chris Dowling 4D and Michael Park 4D
For details regarding the shinsa or to sign up for the event, see the shinsa event page, which includes instructions on how to register. This shinsa is open to those who are eligible for challenging ranks up to 1-Dan.
Dates: June 15-16, 2024
June 15 (Sat):  11:30-5:00 @ Portland Aikikai,1419 NW Raleigh St, Portland, OR 97209
June 16 (Sun): 8:00-11:00 @ 5484 SE International Way, Milwaukie, Oregon, 97222
Cost: $70 for the seminar.

July – Houston, Texas
SUSKIF will be having their first Jodo seminar at the Houston Kenshikan instructed by Jodo 6-dan Marcus Lee-Steere Sensei on Saturday, July 20. Please let your members know they can go to this webpage for more information.

August – Cincinnati, Ohio
2024 Cincinnati Jodo Seminar
Friday Aug 2nd -Sunday Aug 4th.
Instructors will be:
Thomas Groendal Renshi 6D, Peter Boylan 6D, Harvey King 5D, Nate England 5D, Frank DiMarco 4D, & David Gravens 4D. 
Testing up to 1st Dan available. 
Flier, registration forms, and other details will be coming in the next week or two.

December – Grand Rapids, MI        AUSKF National Jodo Seminar
SAVE THE DATE!!
The AUSKF 2024 National Jodo Seminar and Test will be held at Grace Christian University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 13-15, 2024.
We are planning to test up to 4th dan at this National event, and we are requesting two Japanese sensei to from the All Japan Kendo Federation come to act as both instructors and panelists at this event.
The test panel will also include four 6th dan Jodo sensei from the United States.
