Hi all

After some 2 years of successful use of the Beta, I can no longer see the Auskey option at the Business Portal - just MyGov option.

As far as I am aware there were no changes to my system - anyone had this happen?

Cheers

works for me, though it's not showing both my auskeys.  i think the one not shown has expired.

Used it to lodge my BAS a week ago.

Perhaps as Jayen suggests, your key expired?

Yep - Auskey had expired which was a surprise to me as I had thought that it didn't as long as it was used at least once a year.  Checked the file and saw an end date of 2 years after start date - same in new key file.

Anyway, Auskey has limited life left as the Gov't is replacing it next year with myGovID - so that may present a new challenge to us Linux users.

Cheers

Hi all. The AUSkey renewal system has stopped working. If you get an additional AUSkey and install it over the existing AUSkey, you will extend the AUSkey until the max date of 30 March 2020. If already expired, then register for a new AUSkey with the same details
For the future mygovid you will not need to install it on Linux. It will be installed on your mobile device. You'll just use your browser on Linux, and authenticate via the mygovid app.

Thanks for the info!  I found that my replacement key did as you said.  I wasn't sure how the MyGovID was going to work.

Just tried to install on Debian 9 - after much mucking around, everything seems to work, except the actual site - I don't get the ASUkey option on login.

Hi Peter
What browser are you using? If Chrome, have you installed the extension? Some more info on what you did in your "mucking around" might assist group members to be able to help you.
My issue was that the AUSkey had expired.
Cheers
Alan
