Hello all
Have installed and tested (as far as log in and have a look around!) with FF 53.0.3 & Vivaldi 1.9.818.50 on 64 bit PCLinuxOS 2017 with kernel 4.10.16 and KDE Plasma 5.8.6 on an old HP Paviion dv6 (with a brand new drive!) with no issues.
Strangely, Chrome didn't seem to take the
extension although I can see the files were installed. I
haven't had a chance yet to follow up why this might be
happening.
Anyway, two out of three isn't too bad!
And I still have my fallback installation of
FF51 on another PC which is still working well
Cheers
HopSeriously, this has been tested on a very limited number of machines and if you're going to test it and tell me that it works - or doesn't - you are expected to include full system version information. Also, I'm not the author of this software and I do not hold the copyright to this code, but have been given permission to share it, so, play nice. That all being said, enjoy and let me know how you go.

Sorry for being such a Luddite but after i download the file and extracted it I cant get it to install. The computer doesn’t seem to recognize it to open the appropriate installation program? I am running Ubuntu 17.04 and Firefox as browser.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.Nick

I have a copy of the BETA installer for Linux and it is attached to this email. Please have a look at it, test it and reply to this email with comments.

I'm trying to run this on Ubuntu 18.10 and Chrome with no joy unfortunately.I have run the script, installed the chrome extension, but when I click on the link to and start the install process, it simply says, you need to install a browser extension and takes me to the page for windows and mac. Very sad. Looks as though I'll have to keep the mac around just for this which sucks badly.Peter.

Since MyGov had security holes which I stumbled across I removed myself from MyGov entries and won't be using that so I have no idea what will happen if they say its the only way to have access.

There will be more Comms about AUSkey ending and a migration option.
Note mygovID is different to mygov and is more secure, still using digital cert technology but via the mygovid app. Mygov for access to your individual info. Mygovid to access your businesses. RAM to authorise multiple businesses to your mygovid. Machine credentials like AUSkey will only work for one ABN each.
Using a cloud provider product is always an option if you don't want to install your own machine credential in installed software. Websites will use the new mygovid product.
