On Fedora 30 (may work for earlier releases) I used the installer script and had to do the following before...

sudo dnf install sharutils

then a really dirty hack for the missing libssl.so.1.0.0libcrypto.so.1.0.0 which (of all places!) I pulled from the installed Tor Browser sub folder ???/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/TorBrowser/Tor/ and I had to copy as root to /lib64/

If the script gives a missing libssl.so.1.0.0 message the above should work, but Ubuntu based distro will need another package installer command maybe sudo apt install sharutils
I read Auskey is being phased out March 2020. I managed to log into the Auskey manager, but have not really used anything else yet. I need to do my BAS to ATO.

Thank you for hacking this Linux support for Auskey.
