Have you noticed how these days bacteria attracts all the attention?

I think fungi should have a much higher profile than they do at
present.

Yes. We should be making it clear that we should not be eradicating
either bacteria or fungi from our lives, because doing so is
compromising our immune systems, and making them behave like an
Australia governemnt security regulator on a trip.
