No, but you could probably by the magazine they are in, and see them that
way.

Possibly so they can spank themselves silly in the privacy of their
toilet?
The magazine has more than just pictures.
you doesn't need a computer to see the playboy magazine.

Tell me, does she have a bag over her ugly head. Nice legs. Shame about
the face.

Having gone out of my way to, um, read the articles in the magazine (at
great embarrassment!) in the name of critical analysis, I must say that
I cannot see how the, um, articles could be described as "great".
Adequate, maybe, but nothing too brilliant.
I certainly can't see how they'd be worth $8.
One thing though - how does Jodie Young see this as a good career move?
Certainly, doing a nude pictorial won't enhance her journalistic
reputation or increase her credibility.

I wouldn't call it a really *bad* move either, though. Considering she
worked as a reporter on Ten's Sex/Life show, it's clear that she isn't that
interested in doing "ordinary" or "real" journalism (as in, serious current
affairs stuff). I guess she would get a reasonable amount of publicity from
the pictorial... and maybe, in the end, it was a decision motivated by the
hip pocket.

Actually, we don't really get to see her "hip pocket" in the
pictorial... :-)
Sure, she'll get some publicity from the pictorial - but will she get
employment or credibility? Fine, if she hopes to continue her career in
the more exploitative programs like Sex/Life, but that seems to me to be
an unnecessary narrowing of her career path. IMO, she is less likely to
find herself on the "family" infotainment programs (such as Getaway, Our
House etc) to whcih she previously seemed to be aspiring.

Have you noticed that Wonderworld has spawned some of the most
rapaciously ambitious women of television? Jodie Young and Catriona
Rowntree are so desperately ambitious it hurts. I vaguely remember some
others (the surreal redhead) from whom ambition positively oozed on the
show. I wonder if Wonderworld wasn't (isn't?) the grooming ground for
some of the bits on the side of the Nein execs? I think some of them
would screw a snake if it would advance their careers.

To be honest, I suspect most personalities on TV are ruthlessly
ambitious - that's how they get to where they are. I doubt Jodie Young
is any more ambitious than, say, Andrew Daddo.
As for screwing a snake - yes, I also agree that most TV executives are
as low as a snake.

No, I agree, they're all as ambitious, but what I'm talking about is
sheer naked ambition. At least Daddo and that ilk camouflage it a
little, whereas with the women mentioned it come off in waves.
