Sad news that world affairs commentator and presenter Dr Magnus Clarke
died on Saturday after a long battle with cancer. TV viewers will
remember him best as the host of University Challenge in the 1980s,
and one of the ABC's anchors during the non-stop coverage of the Gulf
War.
