What was the name of the little fat chick that used to be on YTT.
I didn't see her on tonights show. My wife thinks her name might be
Courtney. She had dimples like Scaali.

Nope, it was Junita (sp?) Coco who died in a car crash when she was 18.

I don't remember Courtney being fat though.

The little fat chick in the late 80's was Courtney. She skinned up though in
the last couple of years.
Juanita was the one who died in 1993.

She wasn't fat, she was pretty normal for her age, a bit of 'baby fat'
perhaps, but certainly not overweight.

I thought that Joey guy who was very skinny on the show certainly gained

lots of weight! esp. around the face.

did you find that most of the people on that show either became more
attractive
or less attractive?

however, I thought Tina Arena pretty much stayed the same - neither
attractive
or ugly. although now her voice sounds like a mans :(

and I thought Dannii minogue was so cute and pretty as little kid and
she
looked so much better before she had her plastic surgery :(

OK I've done a little searching and I found that Courtney is a personal
trainer, was in Neighbours and is working on releasing a solo CD. So I was
mistaken.

I'm pretty sure that I remember Jodie Loebert (i think that was her surname)
was actually 'sacked' from YTT in the 80s for being overweight. The program
showed a quick shot of her singing Scarborough Fair. Unfortunately other
team members of the time - Danni Minogue, Karen Dunkerton were particularly
skinny by contrast. The current day shot of Jodie, though, showed a very
skinny adult. I enjoyed seeing the program. Good on John Bowles for making
it- he put a lot of work into it and it was a good tribute.

I read that she wanted no part in the doco, despite lots of pleading from
the producers.
But when YTT was played on TV1 in 1998 and Johhny Young hosted links for
it, she appeared on that.

16th birthday, amid much rumour.

Jodie seemed to disappear from entertaining for quite some time after YTT.

She is now living in country Victoria and is married, where she juggles her
time between folk singing and being full-time Mum to her children"

Yep, agree with all of that. I think she was one of those who disappeared
without comment, rather than the fanfare that those leaving due to reaching
16 got.

You're jumping to conclusions a bit here - since when did a trainer have to
be ultra thin and toned? Maybe she's actually muscly? Or maybe she
specialises in working with people with injuries or disabilities, which has
quite different requirements to working with those who want to be 'buffed'.
