As if Trump brandishing a bible wasn't cringe worthy enough we now
have the pile of ever changing book titles on Alan Kohler's desk when
presenting his finance report on ABC News!

Why? E-Books take up no space and are much easier to read and handle.

You need an e-reader in order to read them. I don't need an e-reader to
read real books.

You can read e-books on a phone or tablet.

I do read e-books - on my iPad - where a paper version isn't available.
I don't need an iPad to read a real book.

Sad to say, I stopped reading books about 23 years ago. Went form
having 2 or 3 books on the go to none as soon as I got my own Internet
access.

That might be your preference, personally I even print out
long articles and documentation from the web to read on paper
in preference to a computer screen.

Ditto, although I made the mistake recently of not seeing the page count
on a spec that I printed. I came back to the printer to find 350 pages
of it there :(

Who on earth wants to read a book on a phone?

iPad, maybe, a phone, never!

People read websites, including news websites on their phone all the
time, when they are on a train or bus. Why not a book?

Could be worse, with one of my printers that would have meant finding
them all over the floor (and then trying to pick them up while
preserving the page order)!
