Are there any Young Talent Time fans out there? I want
to know if there are any websites dedicated to this
show. I have looked but can't find any. Maybe I'll
start my own :)
Anyway, does any one know where they are today:
Karen Dunkerton,Tim Nelson, Greg Poyton, Bevan Addinsall,
Mark Stevens, Vince Del Tito, Joey Dee, Jamie Churchill,
Johnny Nuich, Lorena Novoa, Katie Van Ree, Vanessa Windosr,
Natalie Miller, Courtney Compagnino, Rikki Arnott,
- I can't belive I remembered their names...sad.
Does anyone have a copy of the New Weekly mag that had the YTT
where are they now special?
Does any one have any YTT mags, records, etc
If you have any YTT info, let me know
thanx

hehe...I thought I was a pathetic fan but no way could I have remembered
all those names.

JJJ's Merrick and Rosso challenged Peter Helliar to produce a tribute to
Bevan Addinsall.
He did a great job of taking the piss out of him. It was called "Bevan
- The Musical", they later did a Part 2 to the tribute titled "Bevanly
Creatures".
They tracked the poor guy down, from memory he was a cabaret singer in
Melbourne's Crown Casino.

The MP3's are here: http://www.fastlink.to/merrickandrosso/
There is a link to the sounds page from this page...worth a listen.

Anyone remember Juanita? I heard that she's dead.

One of the girls died in a car crash. I can't remember which one. My
folks have YTT records. Two I think.
Have you been watching them on Foxtel/Austar?
I brother used to be a dead ringer for Joey Dee.

That would be Juanita. Knew she died young and tragically but didn't
know how.

Natalie Miller has been seen singing on Bert Newton's morning show,
with short, cropped blondish hair (I recognised her big teeth first!)

One of the YTTers died about 5-10 years ago in a car crash, aged
around 17-18. Not sure which one it was - she was around the time of
Natalie, and looked a little like her. If someone gives her name, I'll
recognise it.

Okay, I admit it, I'm a fan! I grew up with the show, and was in the
studio audience twice. Once Johnny Young stood too close to the
special effects and got singed eyebrows, and the other, there was a
fire in the sound booth.

Funny, I was looking for one too a little while ago, and came across
the same problem. I would have thought that now it's back on Foxtel
someone would have put one up

>Does anyone have a copy of the New Weekly mag that had the YTT
>where are they now special?

I did, but I can't find it (I've recently moved and it's packed away
somewhere):-( But from memory...

>Anyway, does any one know where they are today:

Karen Dunkerton: Married to a jockey

Tim Nelson: I think he's a camerman, or doing something behind the
scenes

Greg Poyton: Working in IT/Computer hardware

Bevan Addinsall: Don't remember except for the "Beven the musical"
thing

Mark Stevens:Not sure

Vince Del Tito: Music producer (produced CDB's album)

Joey Dee: Studying building and singing R&B

Jamie Churchill: Studying to be a graphic designer

Johnny Nuich: Hairdressing (always thought he was a bit suspect:-))

Lorena Novoa: Singing latin music

Katie Van Ree, Changed her name to Katrina

Vanessa Windsor: Telstra Consultant (also starred in a bank ad a few
years ago too)

Natalie Miller: Was singing on In Melbourne Tonight. Not sure what
she's doing now that's over.

Courtney Compagnino:: Was working in a talent agency or some such

Rikki Arnott: Working in a girly show in Japan

OK, it's official - I have NO life!:-)

>Does any one have any YTT mags, records, etc

That I don't. Sorry.

The girls name was Jaunita Coco. A shame too as she was a damn honey and
would be around my age too of 26 :-(
