omg that show was awesome. It was soooo cool! I always wished I could go
see where they filmed it. It had the buchannon kids in it as the 'stars' of
the show. I wish I knew where I could find more information about the show.
If you find out, please post here.

I remember it well. Unfortunately there is very little information out
there about it.

Who else remembers the spinoff about the flying bus? :)

Cheers

Well I just did a google search (probably wrongly I know) and it came
up with 17 400 pages initially

Just reading the headings, many are actually bad ie wrong hits,
however some of them refer to soundtrack compilations (dunno if
record, cassette or CD)

Mmm, got me thinking now, might have to pursue looking further myself

Was this one of the SEVERAL Aussie kids shows that features a flying
bus. 2 of the series were related, I think one spun off from the
earlier one. (the latest and crappiest obviously being the opening
graphics component of ch 7's Big Arvo) ??

cheers

Theme song :o)

I know a valley ( or My Secret Valley)
I know a valley ( or My Secret Valley)
My Secret Valley
The world loves to see.
One place for children
Welcome from around the world
Please come and share Secret Valley with me.
Paris, London, Montreal and Amsterdam
So many places I want to go
From the hills of Spain
To the city streets of Germany
Please come and share Secret Valley with me.

this guy:
http://www.planetian.com/jul2001/05jul2001.htm

I was gobsmacked. I thought that every Australian child had seen Secret
Valley!
"You must have heard of Spider McGlurk!" I said. Nope, she hasn't.

So, dear Australian readers, I Need To Know - am I alone in remembering
Secret Valley? I saw it in the early 80s, when I was still in primary
school, and it was on the ABC every afternoon. (It may have been on
commercial tv before that.)

Share your Secret Valley memories with me people, there is a high degree of
need here!

(Have I mentioned that my brother and I used to have Secret Valley
t-shirts?)

We need to petition the ABC to bring it out on DVD!! I thought I was
the only one that watched that as a kid! I was absolutely hooked on
it.

Yeah it was a great show. It ran for years, repeated at least twice.
The bushfire episode gave me nightmares.

I've only just realised why the Buchanan sisters looked so familiar to me
while on Neighbours, Hey Dad etc - they were in Secret Valley.....

ABC are looking for ways to save money IIRC, they should play some of those
old shows sometimes - providing they still own the rights and that there are
still copies left somewhere!
