Thanks, I've tried this a few times but it hangs on the scan screen. The
only way to reset it is to unplug and reboot the decoder holding down the
start button.

Any idea why it mightn't work?

Same here.dosent work on my UEC 700,just keeps scanning

mine is the same maybe the lnb is not properly alinged for vertical
polarization

That could well be it. Some of the Austar and foxtel installations
have been done with only single polarity LNB's. Only about half the
customers were lucky enough to get a dual polarity one, as far as I
know.

Don't know, sorry, except that if you try to retune to the mediasat or
aurora transponders and nothing happens then it probably means you
have a single polatity LNB. Maybe someone can clear that up.
