I can pick this up when I tune the foxtel satellite box to Channel 51 (comes
across as faint but noticeable snow, if I had the antenna pointing the right
way, it would swamp it out completely). Can anyone else in Sydney with a
proper Wollongong setup pick this up on their digital STB's or see the snow
when they tune a VCR or Pay TV box to Channel 51?

If it's snowy then it's not digital. Sounds like analogue to me.

A snowy affect is what Digital interference looks like.
It will make a normally good Analogue picture look like a weak or badly
tuned channel.

Click! I just got what he was going on about.

Ch51 UHF is what I use to pick up ANALOGUE ABC from WOllonggon because the
Sydney ABN2 is unwatchable where I am.
