Executive Summary
This note seeks to educate the reader the reality that Islam is an evil
faith and that the fundamentals of Islam are in variance with World Peace,
tolerance and harmony. Also the note seeks to educate the reader, who has
not been actively exposed to Islam to understand Islam. The problem of
Islam is a difficult one and there are no easy solutions. I have
highlighted the action that is needed from the leaders and citizens of the
World to fight Islam and Muslims. I have established through facts why
Islam is something that has to be not just despised and opposed but also
actively fought and destroyed.
1. INTRODUCTION
Islam is a product of the dark-ages. Islam originated in the 6th Century
AD, a time of worldwide intellectual stupor. Islam originated in medieval
Arabia, an area dominated by desert tribes. In my note, I define my Muslim
as someone who follows the ideology espoused in the Muslim book of Koran
and Hadis and is sufficiently committed to carry out acts these books
advocate.
1.1 Basics of Islam
Islam is organised on three fundamentals - (1) Koran (2) Hadis and (3)
Shariah. Koran is the Muslim Bible organised in terms of Chapters called
Suras further divided into verses that Mohammad composed during his
lifetime. Allah is Arabic for God. Muslims believe that Mohummad was a
medium communicating Allah's message. Muslims believe that Koran is the
final message from God and that Koran cannot be altered thus making useful
social changes difficult to achieve in Islamic societies. Another
fundamental of Islam is the Sunnah (Hadis) Koran in action, which refer to
accounts of Mohummad's life - kind of biography cum diary of how Mohummad
handled various situations including how he prayed, how he ate etc. It is
specific enough to the extent of how he went to restroom, what he muttered
then etc. Hadis is important and according to many remains a weakness of
Islam in view of the idealisation of Mohummad's behavior by the Muslims and
the efforts by every believing Muslim to approach that ideal, which is
rooted in sixth century Arab Tribalism; orthodoxy cites Hadis and Koran to
tie down ordinary Muslims to a ritualised life and medieval value system.
The third fundamental of Islam is the Shariah or the Islamic Law which too
has its origin in the Koran and the Hadis: Shariah refers to the Islamic
Jurisprudence - voluminous texts that Islamic scholars have put together;
Shariah is made up of Fatwas, edicts issued and compiled by Ulema, Islamic
Scholars on various subjects. It encompasses an entire gamut of issues
including analysing issues such as depth of beard a person can have, the
level to which Penis can into vagina and the like.
1.2 Wahabis, Deobandis, Shias and Sunnis
I want to highlight about two important groups relevant to Islam in the
Arab Peninsula and the Indian subcontinent. Wahabis and Deobandis. Most
people are familiar about Sunnis and Shias but not many know about Wahabis
and Deobandis. For our purpose of understanding the core of Islam, it is
not necessary to enter into the core of Sunni/Shia debate. Both the Sunnis
and Shias largely share similar fundamental belief systems though they
differ in some of the rituals and the details primarily concerning
Mohummad's family and his initial successors.
Wahabism is a belief system that evolved in Arabia some 300 years ago by
fanatic Moulvis and Mullahs who saw and anticipated the gradual weakening
of Islam. Saudi Arabia and UAE are ruled by people who believe in Wahabism;
Wahabis follow Koran and the Hadis to the word and are extremely intolerant
of anything that is outside Koran and Hadis. That is the reason, why
outside Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia is the state with most repressive laws.
Wahab beliefs are an important reason as to why Arab Petro Dollars end up
substantially in the coffers of intolerant Islamic terror groups.
Deobandis are cousins of Wahabis from Indian sub-continent. Similar to
Wahabis they are also extremely intolerant. Recently deposed Afghanistan
Rulers -Taliban and Pakistani Muslim Ruling establishment are both typical
Deobandis. Though Islam has been extremely rigid and intolerant since its
foundation, Wahabis and Deobandis have actively contributed to further
increase the rigidity and intolerance among Muslims.
Both the Wahabis and Deobandis belong to the Sunni, the dominant Muslim
Community. The other important Muslim Group Shias, who are no less
intolerant, are a substantial minority. Shias make up the majority and are
rulers in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
2. ISLAMIC VIEW OF WORLD - TERRORISM AND INTOLERANCE
2.1 Land of War and Land of Islam
Islamic conceptualisation of the world is in terms of the Dar-ul-Harb (Land
of War) and Dar-ul-Islam (Dar-ul-Islam).
In Islamic terminology, any land where Muslims are in a minority is Land of
War and such a land should be converted into Land of Islam through whatever
means available. Jehad -religious war is an accepted tool to make this
conversion. (Jehad, which has its origin in the Arab word for striving, in
practice results into terror and war against non-Muslims). Hence in Islam,
the word Jehadi (Islamic Freedom fighter) in effect turns to be euphemism
for a Muslim Terrorist.
There are no ethics and rules in a fight that a Jehadi fights. Allah is
supposed to reward each of the Jehadi, whatever be the Jehadi's means with
Heaven. On the contrary, Islamic Framework the only destiny for a
non-Muslim, even the most compassionate and good being is hell. The above
concepts explain why there is so much Muslim Terrorism in multi-religious
areas where Muslims are in sizable numbers.
According to Islam and Koran, Terrorist Muslims fighting non-Muslims are
supposed to walk after their death straight into Paradise where the booty
would be houris - sexy women and attractive boys. The outcome that is
reserved for non-Muslims is terror and harsh punishment both in this life
and in after life. The reason for punishment and terror to non-Muslims is
neither on account of the behavior of the individual nor on account of his
actions but solely because of the fact that the person is a non-Muslim.
According to Islamic Law, the worst criminal if he is a Muslim is supposed
to be a better being with a better future than a non-Muslim.
Hence, the Islamic framework actively encourages among Muslims us versus
them syndrome, tendency to perceive their own religion as superior,
intolerance towards non-Muslims and terrorism.
2.2 Islam is Not Peace but Intolerance and Terror to Non-Muslims
Commentators and Historians on Islam have maintained for long that some of
the Suras in Koran, which allude to peace, occurred to Mohummad at a time
when the Qureshi clan persecuted him and when Mohummad was politically and
militarily weak. (Hence these commentators maintain that Allah and Islam
was conceptualised by Mohummad to serve Mohummad himself! The Suras
occurred to Mohummad in accordance with the situation that Mohummad found
himself in, Mohummad's wishes and preferences. Peace and violence were to
be dictated by Mohummad's expediency).
These commentators highlight that once Mohummad ensconced himself at
Medina, and once he became politically powerful, the Suras (The later
suras) towards Non-Muslims become distinctly intolerant and menacing.
(Prayer towards Jerusalem later on being shifted to Prayer towards Mecca is
another example the commentators highlight to substantiate the allegation
of alterations that Mohummad made as he gradually emerged stronger and
influential! Jerusalem was the original center of Islam in deference to
Jewish beliefs). The Commentators also mention that Islam should be judged
primarily by the behavior of Muslims towards those belonging to other
religious denominations. Here again Islam flounders badly. Muslim
interactions with the Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jews and Sikhs have
been intolerant, violent and bloody.
Another Pillar of Islam is exclusivity. The comatose rituals such as
maintaining the length of beard, Muslim Prayer and Purdah (women's veil)
were designed to facilitate conformance for Muslims among themselves and
encourage maintaining distinctness from non-Muslims.
So it is not a surprise that the Ulema (Muslim clergy) and the Muslim
Scholars who understand their faith very well agree with these Commentators
and Historians maintaining that the older suras were indeed strategic
suras, just for Mohummad to gather time and strength and to prevent Islam's
Persecution and possible destruction by powerful Quresh.
Hence it can be conclusively seen that Islam at best permits compassion and
peace.. only to its members-Muslims (also called Ummah - The community).
The Ummah-hood is reinforced by exclusivist rituals such as the Hajj (visit
to Mecca), congregation in Mosques and by mass fasting during the month of
Ramzaan. Therefore Islam which Muslims say represents 'Brotherhood of Man'
in reality is 'Exclusive Brotherhood of Muslims'. The exclusivity of
Muslims and difference in status of Muslims and non-Muslims is further
reinforced by Shariah (Islamic Law) through the Jiziya, which is tax on
Non-Muslims for being non-Muslims.
3. EVIDENCE
3.1 Evidence from Koran
I will now cite Suras from authoritative sources of Koran to support my
statement that Islam in action incites intolerance towards non-Muslims and
terrorism.
Verse 51 of Sura 5 from the Koran
Yusufali: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your
friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other.
And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily
Allah guideth not a people unjust.
Pickthal: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for
friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for
friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
Shakir: O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for
friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them
for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide
the unjust people.
This is a Sura, which clearly communicates intolerance towards non-Muslims.
Verse 151 of Sura 3 of Koran
Yusufali: Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers
(Non-Muslims), for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had
sent no authority: their abode will be the fire: And evil is the home of
the wrong-doers!
Pickthal: We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve
(Non-Muslims) because they ascribe unto Allah partners, for which no
warrant hath been revealed. Their habitation is the fire, and hapless the
abode of the wrong-doers.
Shakir: We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve
(Non-Muslims), because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent
down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of
the unjust.
The above Sura clearly incites Terrorism.
I have cited only a couple of Suras. There exist in Koran, many more Suras,
spewing even more venom on Non-Muslims - Not only Christians and Jews but
also other communities and their deities. The Hadis and the Shariah are
even more venomous.
There are persons who mention that Islam is a tolerant religion. These
people also highlight that there are enough Suras, which speak of tolerance
towards people following non-Muslim religions. These are the people who
deliberately obfuscate the reality and create confusion because most people
do not bother go through the trouble of studying the original texts and the
context of Islam. Suras in Koran, if studied in the light of words,
context, meaning and situation clearly advocates intolerance and violence.
People trying to obfuscate the reality about Islam indulge in selective
quoting and try to present the Suras partially or out of context. One of
the Suras such people typically cite is Sura 256, Chapter 3 "Let there be
no compulsion in religion".
As mentioned these persons sound convincing because they camouflage the
truth and most non-Muslims are unlikely to verify the truth by reading the
Koran, and those who do so will not have their rejoinders accepted by the
media at large.
The riddle of No Compulsion in Islam is solved if we look at the Verse in
Entirety.
Verse 256, Sura 2
Yusuf Ali: Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear
from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the
most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and
knoweth all things.
Pickthal: There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is
henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and
believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break.
Allah is Hearer, Knower.
Shakir: There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become
clearly distinct from error; therefore, whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan
and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which
shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
Mohummad in the above Sura clearly communicates his implicit assumption
that any non-Muslim is evil and inferior. So in effect there is no
compulsion in Islam as long as one is a Muslim! Ulema (Islamic Scholars)
and Mullahs who know Koran very well agree with Mohammad on this.
The above are the reasons why Taleban and the Clergy, who have studied
Islamic texts thoroughly all their lives and understand Islam so well are
most intolerant and violent.
This is also the reason, why the efforts to moderate Islam are likely to
fail. As long as the Islamic texts remain easily available and are active
studied, and as long as there is encouragement to study these texts, there
can never be proactive tolerance and peace in the Muslim Weltanschuang. The
fundamental sources of Islam Koran and Hadis are themselves steeped in
falsehood and are guilty of preaching hatred and terror.
3.2 Evidence from Pluralistic Societies
Let us look at the behavior of Muslims to examine their societal
contribution in pluralistic societies.
There is no doubt that Muslims have benefited out of liberal environment in
pluralistic societies such as America and India and have contributed in
various fields. However it is also a fact that the contribution of the
Muslims has been constrained by the Islamic faith and the full potential of
the Muslims for positive contribution never realized. More importantly
Muslims exploit the liberal laws in non-Muslim nations to plan and execute
terror acts. There are two interesting observations.
It is well known that in places like Mumbai, where Muslims make hardly 10%
of the population, about 50% of the Criminals are Muslim and if we look at
the severity of the crime the proportion of Muslims increases even more.
There is this interesting observation in England. People from the Indian
sub-continent, Hindus and Muslims from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have
emigrated to England in large numbers during the last fifty years. The
Hindu community through family values and hard work have contributed
lawyers, business-men, engineers, doctors, academics and other productive
individuals to enrich the life of Britain.
On the contrary, Muslim community has contributed individuals that
specialise in rowdyism, violence, crime and terrorism. The Muslim community
is also comparatively illiterate.
Such stark difference is because of only one factor - Islam.
3.3 Case Study - Afghanistan
Similarly Afghanistan known as Gandhara (Kandahar is derived from Gandhara)
in Ancient days was great Civilisation before Islam entered the region. The
Mauryan Empire, the Greek empire and Kushans built extremely cosmopolitan
and civilised culture. Afghanistan and North West Pakistan housed great
libraries and possessed largest universities and architectural marvels.
They built the Great Buddhas. In linguistics they were among the first
people to codify Grammar. Ancient Afghans contested Islamic threat for over
300 years. But once Afghanistan became Muslim rot started setting in. The
intolerant and fanatic Muslims burnt the Universities. Much knowledge was
lost. The knowledgeable civilization gradually decayed under the hold of
Islam. It was so bad that many among the present generation of
Afghans-Muslims believed that Men could not have created Big Buddhas at
Bamian and that these were the work of Jinn. The only reason for the Muslim
destruction of the Buddhas was the structure's non-Islamic past.
Afghanistan represents the effect of Islamic influence at its pernicious
worst - Islam does not create. Islam destroys, and hence contributes to
Civilizational decay. Talibs were people who had studied Islam thoroughly
and put Islam into action in Afghanistan bringing untold misery.
It is important for the world leaders to sift through the lies communicated
by the spin-doctors and apologists of Islam, understand the reality, learn
their lessons and take steps to mitigate and eliminate the Evil ideology
called Islam.
3.4 True Islam
The True Islam remains Islam in action - the fanaticism of an Arab, the
Cruelty of an Afghan Taliban, willingness to terrorise and kill peaceful
non-Muslim civilians, the Mindset and behavior pattern that makes these
rascals world over from Palestine to Pakistan including little children
distribute candies for perpetuating most heinous and cowardly criminal acts
and the mindset that makes Muslims eulogise intolerant psychopath criminals
like Bin Laden as holy warriors, and proudly display Bin Laden Postures in
thousands of shops and tea kiosks in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
3.5 Root Cause of Problem - Ideology of Islam
The argument that the problem of Muslim terrorism arises out of
socio-economic conditions or out of aspirations of Muslim people of
Palestine is mischievous and contrary to facts. Most Muslim Terrorists like
Osama do not have a penurious background. Many are well educated and rich.
The manifestation of Muslim terrorists has its origin in Koran and Hadis
itself. The Root of problem is the ideology of Islam itself which
masquerading as religion advocates violence, terror and genocide.
4. WHAT SHOULD MUSLIMS UNDERSTAND
Any Muslim who makes a sincere attempt to find out the truth will reach the
following conclusions:
Muslims should accept the reality that Islam is intolerant towards other
people and that Islam lacks the flexibility of making fine-tuning
adjustments with life and their behavior, as human mind and the nature as
mankind and nature continue their relentless march across the frontiers of
science, psychology, jurisprudence and religion. Muslims should accept that
Islam lacks the dynamism to accommodate change and development active laws
of nature. Islam remains stuck in medieval tribal Arab setup.
In most Muslim countries the key decision makers and leaders are those who
believe in Islam. Such individuals see life through the prism of Islamic
heritage rather than a bold view to see life as it really is. This tendency
percolates down to common masses as well.
Majority of Muslim nations driven by ORTHODOXY have accepted/or practise
intolerance and inability to accept and live with differences. (The
difficulty of Muslims to adjust as a minority people, the creation of
Pakistan, the continuing Jehad in Israel and Kashmir, Iran Revolution,
Fanatical Taleban Behavior are only a few examples).
All the available evidence and behavior of the Muslims, lend credence to
the view that Islam is not a peaceful faith and is a major contributor
towards violence and terror world over.
Also the people making up the Muslim nations should reiterate that never
again will they allow the Mullahs and Moulvis - Clergy to manipulate
religion - Koran and Hadis and Shariah to suit Mullah's individual
interests; and that they shall keep politics and religion separate.
(The separation of religion and corporal power was something that happened
in Europe during the last millennium, the separation of the church and the
state leading to progress and intellectual freedom; people stopped viewing
life through the exclusive prism of Bible leading to progress. This was
possible in Europe because of the personality of Jesus as a poor preacher.
Mohummad made a cardinal mistake (therein lies the most fundamental
weakness of Islam) of mixing politics, corporal power and religion. So to
that extent this separation of Religion (Mosque) and State (Politics and
Power) is difficult for Muslims.
Hence the very fundamentals of Islam - Koran, Hadis and Shariah are static,
outdated and evil and hence need to be confined to trash-can. This in
effect means that the faith of Islam has to die out primarily for the
benefit of Muslims themselves.
5. CHALLENGES TO MUSLIM LEADERS WORLDOVER
As the spirit of Islam indeed is intolerant and static, the Muslims should
do well to ditch Islam with its assorted baggage Koran, Hadis and the
Fatwas. Because as it need not be further documented, the effects of
moribund ritualism and intolerance are nothing but degeneration of
civilisation and conflict among humans.
If Muslims don't fight Islam by themselves proactively, still the march of
nature will deal a deathblow to Islam though Islam in this situation will
die a painful and slow death, as events will overtake them. There will be
much pain and suffering to everyone concerned.
In places like India where Islamic Fanaticism caused major upheavals such
as Partition of a country and holocaust of millions through terrible Jehad
across Millennium, Muslims should apologies for the mistakes committed by
the evil people who violated basic principles of tolerance, and peaceful
coexistence and contributed to much unnecessary suffering, all in the name
of Islam.
The apology becomes necessary on account of the past misdeeds by Muslim
fanatics.
The leadership in Muslim nations should recognise the danger of Islam and
should take the initiative in killing this malevolent ideology. The
necessary actions involve, burning all available copies of Koran and
destruction of each and every Mosque.
To start with Muslim nations can make a good beginning by a major
overhauling of their legal system - Abrogation of Shariah (Islamic Law) and
adoption of modern laws. Shariah remains a major source of power for
Mullahs and has been manipulated by power hungry leaders and Moulvis. Much
of Shariah (measuring how much inside a vagina, penis should penetrate,
what should a man do if his beard grows slowly.. such and related research
is much worse than Devil's activities) is useless stink and out of
consonance with progress, modern justice and law. The Mullah has neither
the competence nor does he possess the latest knowledge to take important
decisions and pass judgments. The Mullah views life and manipulates through
the dangerous tool of Islam.
It should be effectively communicated to Muslim people that life does not
remain frozen at the time of Prophet. It continues its relentless march
growing and enriching and trying to make things better for each successive
generation. If this happens this will lead to not only a better life for
the individual Muslims, but also allow them to contribute their energies
usefully wherever they live for the welfare of everyone.
6. BARRIERS TO CHANGE IN ISLAM AND ACTIONS NEEDED
6.1 Failed Efforts to Reform Islam and Barriers to Change
The efforts to change Islam by making Islam Humane and modern have failed
worldover. subcontinent. The initiatives of Sufi Mystics (Sufism has some
similarities to Vedanta Hinduism), Dinillahi (Akbar's attempt to synthesis
Hindu and Islamic beliefs) Bahais (Iranian Movement to Modernise Islam) and
even Ahmediyas (Attempt to introduce a little dose of rationality into
Islam) ended in abysmal failures. Sufism and Ahmediya Beliefs have been
declared Kufr (prohibited) in Islam. The behavior of the Muslim nations
does not seem to support the hypothesis that change will come from within
and succeed. Only the coercive threat of Military Power wielded by Secular
Army has kept Islam and the Mullahs under check in Turkey.
My view is that the change (glasnost) to Islam may be very tough to expect
in view of the mind's tendency to accept and rationalise one's own
Weltanschauung as the best, especially when it is driven by a powerful
social structure. The all-important separation of Clergy and Power never
occurred in Islam and is difficult in view of the past history of the
religion. Koran has been declared as immutable by the Muslims making the
process of change difficult if not impossible.
The initiative from the Muslim leadership has been very hard to come by.
The clergy are well entrenched than Church ever was in Europe. And as I
highlighted before the personality of Mohummad unlike Jesus practiced the
dangerous mix of religion and politics (worldly power). The closed
perspective that Islam advocates and the intolerant behavior of believers
of Islam supports the view that Islam is an evil ideology that has to be
dealt with sternly using all the tools in hand.
6.2 Role of Free World and Collateral Damages
In view of the inability of Islam to change some amount of coercive force -
violence and threat of violence towards followers of Islam will be
necessary to drive Muslims to betterment. Elimination of Islam is necessary
not only for world peace but also for liberation of Muslims in Islamic
nations whose minds have been enslaved, poisoned and conditioned to the
tyranny of Islam. Afghanistan provided concrete evidence of the damage that
Islam has done to the people there.
It will be best if free world deals a deathblow to Islam as soon as
possible. Sept 11 terror attacks have provided a good opportunity window to
start a focused world effort to destroy the evil ideology of Islam that
creates and nurtures terror and hatred.
6.3 Muslim Terrorist Categories and Actions towards Terrorists
The Main categories of Muslim Terrorists include
6.3.1 Jehadi
Jehadi is normally the frontline terrorist, person who carries out the
actual terrorist acts. Osama's Al Quaeda member represents a typical
Jehadi. This is the person who is also likely to have been educated in
Islamic Theology School - Madrasa or someone who has studied or exposed
adequately to Arabic and Islamic works.
6.3.2 Potential Terrorist or Jehadi
Potential terrorist or Jehadi is the Muslim who visits the mosque. The Imam
(Muslim Preacher) can make such persons carry out terrorist acts at very
short notice. The Islamic practice of Salat - Muslim concept of assembled
prayer facilitates interaction and preparation for terror acts. It has been
repeatedly observed, Mosque happens to be the communication nodal point for
terrorism and the storehouse of terror tools - bombs, guns etc. It has been
frequently observed in India and Israel front-line states against
terrorism, that Muslims start their terrorist attacks after their
Congregations in the Mosques especially on Fridays.
6.3.3 Fifth Column
This is the person who articulates and communicates the Goebellian
falsehood that Islam means Peace. By repeating this sordid lie, this person
tries to Give Islam a respectability that Islam has never deserved. This
canard of Islam being Peace is also perpetrated by (a) Those who the
Muslims employ (b) Those in the media who reproduce uncritically what the
Muslims say and (c) Those who are ignorant and (d) The other enemies of
freedom - the leftist intellectuals. Frequently these are also the people
who blame the terror victim for what the victim undergoes and obfuscate the
reality about the evil that Islam represents.
6.3.4 Fighting the Muslim Terrorism
All the three categories of Terrorists need to be actively fought and
destroyed.
Jehadi should be fought through violence and using his own tools and value
system - terror, stealth etc. "Two eyes for an eye, jaw for the tooth"
should be the driving maxim. Terrorists world over admire superior
firepower. Muslims appreciate the language of superior force. After
repeated defeats, most of the Jehadis are likely to get convinced that God
is on the side of one with a superior weapon. Madrasas - Islamic Schools
must be closed world over. Use of Arab language should be banned.
The second category can be managed by destroying the mosques and banning
the Koran.
The third category the fifth column would need to be fought through
communication. Disseminating truth about Islam, communicating and
convincing everyone on the evil of Islam and the great threat it represents
to freedom and progress is very important.
Those who follow the ideology of Islam will go to a great extent to prevent
the truth about Islam from being known. They will also use as a tool the
Fatwas (Islamic injunctions) and threaten the lives of those who
communicate the truth about Islam. The world and the leaders should not be
cowed down and must fight the evil.
7. TERROR FINANCES
Terrorism is financed through the Twin channels of Zakat and Drugs.
Oil has given the Arabs money which they part with liberally to terrorist
causes and the concept of Zakat - euphemistically called as charity in
effect turns out to be the contribution that Muslims world-over channel in
for terrorist causes and terrorist front-end organisations. Zakat-Money
flows must be carefully monitored so that they don't end up in Madrasas and
in Terrorists coffers. The other important contributor to terrorist finance
coffers is the narco-terrorist cartel based in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Pakistani Intelligence plays a significant role in channeling
Narcotics-Drug Money into terrorist coffers and into Pakistani Economy.
North West Pakistan and Afghanistan are among the leading drug cultivators
in the world. But for Drug Money Pakistan and Afghanistan economies would
be in even worse trouble.
Saudi Arabia alone contributes over 10 billion USD to promote Islam and
terrorism Much of this amount goes to finance terrorists. The Official
Saudi contribution for Islam is in itself more than 10 times the recently
hiked budget for the CIA anti terrorism actions.
8. WESTERN COMPLACENCE
The West has not realised and appreciated the magnitude of Islamic Threat.
They feel that Islamic Terrorism is restricted only to places like
Afghanistan and places like India and Israel. And the west has not shown
the wisdom to accept that while fighting Islam, a nation like Israel is
fighting a war with maniacs from 12th Century Medieval Crusade Mindset but
possessing modern tools and weapons - a dangerous combination. But the
reality will hit the West sooner than later.
The west has to realise that there is no such entity as moderate Islam and
that Islam and Terrorism remain two sides of the same coin. The sooner
everyone realises this and willing to fight Islam the better it is for the
World. Islam is a far more dangerous, evil and potent force than Hitler's
Nazism ever was and deserves immediate attention and action from Leaders in
the West. To think that by giving in over Chechnya, by making concessions
to Hamas, by handing Kashmir to them, one will effectively deal with ''the
causes of Muslim anger'' is to play the fool. World must guard against
carrying out appeasement mistakes that were carried out by the free world
with Fascism the other totalitarian and intolerant ideology during the last
century.
I don't know when and how the fight with Islam will start - because the
most dangerous states (Wahabi Ideology drivers of Islam) Saudi Arabia and
the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have oil and have had military cooperation
with West. These states too will have to be hit along with the known rogue
states (Pakistan, Afghanistan - Deobandi cousins of Wahabis). Pakistan has
had Military cooperation with the West in the past.
It is necessary for the world to be prepared to answer Islamic Terror, and
be willing to fight a long drawn out war. The will that is the crucial
factor is inadequate at the moment. Let us hope that something happens to
change this.
Treating Islam with Kid's gloves will not work. Even more dangerous is the
pseudo intellectual attempts to separate Islam into conservative and
moderate components. This is because such a difference exists only in the
mind of the arm-chair planners and intellectuals; certainly not in the
reality of a Non-Muslim who has been exposed to Islam or in the mind of a
Muslim who follows the Ideology of Islam. If someone is serious about
fighting the cancer of terrorism, both the symptom (Muslim Terrorist) and
the disease (Islam) would need to be eliminated.
8.1 Sept 11, Riposte and Major Players
Now on Sept 11, 2001 US and the Western world saw the true colors of Islam.
An active and immediate riposte is necessary.
The actions that will be effective, correct and measured in eliminating the
evil of Islam are destruction of Kaaba in Mecca and the annihilation of
other Important Mosques in the Islamic World particularly in the Terrorist
states of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Prolonged occupation of nations such as
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and of much of the Islamic world will be
necessary. Over a period of time, each and every mosque - the icon of devil
must be destroyed. One has to strike at the root of evil.
Also every Madrasa-Muslim school imparting Islamic education with a focus
on Koran, Hadis and Shariah must be made to close shop. The proliferation
of Madrasas world over is a significant factor in boosting terrorism
worldwide. A clear correlation has been established between number of
Islamic Schools and terrorist violence.
Simultaneously copies of Koran, a symbol of evil faith that has driven
terrorism world over must be publically burnt to communicate to the world
that Terrorism will not be tolerated.
Unless these happen it will be construed that free world is weak and
Muslims will surely be encouraged to carry out more such terrorist acts.
Next time it may be even worse - use of a chemical or a nuclear weapon is
within the realm of possibility.
8.2 Saudi Arabia and Pakistan - the Real Enemies and Breeding Ground of
Evil
If US thinks in terms of cooperation with Nations such as Pakistan and
Saudi Arabia in the War Against Terrororism, the strategy is doomed to
failure in the long term. Such a move in fact would reflect total lack of
understanding of the fundamentals of Terrorism called Islam and will be a
gross violation of the memory of thousands of souls martyred in Washington
and New York. President Bush's talk of war against Terrorism will have no
meaning if he cooperates with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan who nourish the
ideology that creates Osamas. These states deserve punishment and are far
worse than Iraq and Sudan as cradles of terror. Western and American
decision-making that is driven by the politics of Oil has continued to
ignore the big picture of totalitarian Islam and the long-term dangers
inherent in cooperating with evil.
Saudi Government follows the Shariah (Islamic Law) and Wahabi Islam. Saudi
Arabia follows a primitive system of governance and the medieval Saudi
legal system is similar to that of Taleban.
Saudi Arabia was a nation that succeeded in acquiring prosperity only on
account of American enterprise. The incredible wealth of Saudi Arabia is
entirely based on American investment in and development of the country's
oil fields, namely by Aramco, a joint venture of Standard Oil and Texaco.
Saudis have made money hand over fist, with annual oil revenues jumping
from $4 billion in 1972 to $111 billion in 1981.
A significant portion of this money is channeled into terrorism and Islamic
terror movements through out the world.
The Sheikhs live in luxury, opulence and indulgence and there is crass
exploitation of third world labor. The Islamic law provides hardly any
right to the third world labor and the situation of a third world laborer
is very similar to that of slaves.
The Saudis have also made heavy Investments in America in organizations as
different as Citi Bank, Apple Computers and America Online the holding
company of CNN. That perhaps could be one of the reasons why CNN is not
highlighting effectively the truth about Islam and about Muslim terrorism.
Saudi Money had in the past resulted in influencing the Western Media
favorably towards Islam and in generating lot of capital accumulation. The
Citi Bank holdings alone have helped Arabs accumulate of billions of
dollars.
Now about the second Islamic enemy of the free world - Pakistan.
Pakistan was a nation found on account of the insistence and intolerance of
Muslim inability to live along with non-Muslims. The indulgence, tolerance
and the kindness of the best known apostle of peace and non-violence in the
twentieth Century - Mahatma Gandhi could not prevent Muslims from
intolerance and acceptance of those who follow a contrary faith. Even the
well-educated westernised Muslims such as Mohummad Ali Jinnah preferred
mobilising Muslims into a separate Islamic nationhood. Mohummad Ali Jinnah
the Osama of the twentieth Century contributed to the great Indian
Holocaust - Partition of India and the destruction of Hindus in what is
Pakistan today. People like Osama and Jinnah are only voice of the people
they lead - Muslim people that have been brainwashed by the ideology of
totalitarian Islam. Similarly it was not a coincidence that Talibs were
groomed during the rule of Benazir Bhutto supposedly westernized moderate
Muslim leader. Reality of Islam ensures that there is no moderation in
Islamic Societies. The creation of Pakistan reflected and reconfirmed the
inability of those following Islamic faith to tolerate. People like Parvez
Musharaff are children of those Muslims in India, who rejected the idea of
a nation with composite faiths and discarded the idea of tolerance and
forward thinking. Islam in action ensured during the formative years of
Pakistan that Pakistan was ethnically cleansed of Hindus, who made a
substantial minority.
Musharaff is a highly suspect partner in the coalition against Al Quaeda
and partnered the coalition only under duress. Till 10 September 2001
Musharaff was eulogising the Jehadi Terrorists as freedom fighters. The
recent Agra summit between India and Pakistan failed on account of
Pakistan's unwillingness to rein in cross border Islamic Terrorists. So the
free world has to be extremely careful of these English-speaking Muslims
from Pakistan like General Parvez Musharaff who have greater damage making
potential than Mullahs. Islam does not nurture moderates.
Pakistan's leadership and Intelligence Agency the ISI have invested
considerable amount of Money and time creating Jehadis-Islamic Terrorists.
The Pakistan's defence forces which originally like India's had a British
History and tradition was converted into an Islamic force by the political
and military leadership. The Taliban were created in Pakistan. Mullah Omar
was educated in Pakistani Muslim Theological school. Osama's organisation
Al Quaida was set up in Peshawar, Pakistan. Also It has been confirmed now
that USD 100,000 was wired to Muslim Terrorist Mohummad Atta from Pakistan.
Atta carried out the actual terrorist act. If Pakistan works with America,
there will be lot of quislings working alongside Americans.
The Book Quranic Concept of War can provide the perspective Pakistani
ruling Military leaders have on the Islamic concept of war. Pakistan has a
strong Jehadi set up and is strongly committed to use Islamic Terrorism as
a tool to achieve its ends (Covert Action Capability). The fundamental
orientation of Osama and the Mindset of Pakistani ruling establishment is
one and the same. That is the reason why they actively cooperate. Even
Pakistan Nuclear experts driven by the Islamic terror zeal have closely
cooperated with Al Quaeda.
America's decision to involve Pakistan seems to be a knee jerk reaction.
The decision does not appear to be well thought and reflects the lack of
exposure that Washington has to realities about Islam and about Indian
sub-continent. The decision seems to be born out of old contacts and old
relationships that existed during the earlier Republican Administrations
(Reagan, Bush). Also responsible are the tunnel vision of Colin Powell and
the erroneous belief of American establishment that Moolah can defang the
Mullah.
By roping in Pakistan, US Foreign Policy Establishment would be making a
long-term strategic mistake. The War against terrorism will remain mere
words if Pakistan is roped in. Much of terror infrastructure will continue
to survive. At best there could be cosmetic victories like the capture of
Osama though even that is unlikely. There is a fundamental asymmetry in the
US Pakistan relationship.
US made a mistake while focusing on bleeding Soviet Union to destruction;
the decision of using Islam as a tool to fight the communist menace.
Empowered Taleban and Bin Laden are also products of the earlier American
cooperation with Pakistan. William Casey (CIA director in the Reagan
Administration) was actively involved in arming Islamic Terrorists with
stingers and providing advisors, and in consolidating Islamic Terrorists
from across the world in Afghanistan. Though US succeeded in eliminating
one totalitarian faith, the action resulted in empowering another evil,
which was infinitely worse. Soviet Union even at its worst never indulged
in such overt terrorist acts as the Sept 11 act.
The earlier (Military + Economic) cooperation that US had with Pakistan was
responsible for making Pakistan cross the threshold and emerge a Nuclear
power. China supplied the nuclear design and the important components. US
focused on destroying the other evil - communism looked the other way as
Pakistan smuggled in further nuclear components from the West, crossed the
nuclear threshold and set up numerous Islamic Schools (Madrasas) from which
the Taleban emerged. The negative spin-off of the fight against communism
was the nuclear empowerment of the evil ideology of Islam and its
adherents.
A weapon of Mass destruction in an Islamic state is always dangerous.
Muslims who hardly create anything have been past masters in destruction.
Muslims can willingly use the latest available mass destruction tool that
they have laid their hands on non-Muslims provided the threat of
significant reprisal is absent.
Parvez Musharaff self styled Chief Executive of Pakistan during his speech
addressed to Pakistanis on September 19 cited the alliances that Mohummad
forged during his lifetime. When Mohummad and Islam were militarily weak
during the early years of Islam, Mohummad stuck an alliance with Jews of
Medina and once his hold got strengthened, Muslims terrorised and massacred
the Jews. Similarly Mohummad signed a Peace Treaty with Quresh, the leading
non Muslim Arab tribe that was the custodian of Mecca. Again Mohummad
consolidated his position, he acted swiftly, reneged the Treaty (Treaty of
Hudabiyaa) and converted through terrorist threat of violence entire Mecca
to Islam. Musharaff clearly indicated to Pakistani society that his
alliance with US is of the nature of Mohummad's alliances. During the
speech Musharaff did not criticize the Taleban even once.
It was really surprising to see America welcome such an obnoxious speech by
General Musharaff. This action from Washington clearly reflected the fact
that ABCs of Islam in action is something that members in American Cabinet
and Foreign Policy Think Tank still do not clearly understand. The
cooperation that Washington is thinking of forging with Pakistan and
strengthening Pakistan is extremely dangerous and has ominous portents.
If Islam is not stopped now, Muslims' damage making potential will further
increase and next time it will certainly be a Nuclear attack. The world is
not small and insulated. Smuggling the components into any nation,
assembling them and detonating the bomb does not call for any higher level
expertise and will be certainly within the capabilities of Muslims as time
goes on. Pakistan remains a dirty Islamic swamp where evil terrorists and
Jehadis are bred and receive their succor.
US policy makers may feel that cooperation may work with the above nations
as US has many cards on table. US still has leverage - economic power and
superior capacity for violence and punishment. In view of the fundamentals
of west and that of Islam, US cooperation with Pakistan will fail to root
out Islamic terrorism. It is axiomatic that Pakistan, if it is part of the
coalition will sabotage the War against terrorism. Pakistan will certainly
try to ensure that the terrorist infrastructure (ISI Narco-Criminal-Jehadi
Cartel) and its strike capability remain intact. It is clear that Pakistan
has joined the War against terrorism only to save itself and sabotage the
war in the full sense from within. Curiously during the War Against Terror,
Musharaff was able to do his own version of Durkirk at Konduz during the
siege by Northern Alliance in November. US allowed thousands of Terrorists
(ISI Operatives, Talibs, Pakistani Military personnel who were guiding the
Talibs and other terror merchants) to be airlifted by Pakistan Air Force.
The US will be making a costly mistake if it overlooks Pakistan's role as
the nursery and cradle of this evil, in her anxiety to secure co-operation
in waging this war against terrorism. Using a criminal to catch a criminal
may help in dealing with a single crime, but not in wiping out crime as a
menace. Using and rewarding one evil (Pakistan) to end another evil (Bin
Laden and the Taleban) may help the US in avenging September 11, but will
not prevent more September 11s unless the evil itself is eliminated
wherever it is present (Pakistan, Afghanistan or elsewhere) in whatever
form. US should see through the Pakistani game before it is too late. Weak
analysis by US Foreign policy Establishment and reluctance to apply full
range of pressure options on Pakistan can turn out to be costly for the
free world.
8.3 Israel
Israel has survived as a nation despite tremendous odds. Her Muslim
neighbours and local Muslim populace remain committed to destroy Israel.
The Palestine suicide bombings and terror attacks are part of the same
problem of Islam's inability to tolerate and live with those following
contrary beliefs. The free world needs to support Israel in its fight
against Muslim terrorists.
8.4 India
India is a special position. It has over 150 million Muslims. Muslims are
still a minority. India has been facing the civilizational attack from
Islam for over 1200 years now. India remains the only nation that
successfully braved Islamic terror though at heavy costs.
India faces very tough challenges. India is not an affluent nation though
India follows a western forward-looking constitution, liberal set up and
democracy. This was possible because of the liberalist ethos and tolerance
of Indian primarily Hindu tradition.
Minority Muslims in Indian states like Kashmir have far more civil rights
than what Muslims have in Islamic nations. Still the Islam's inability to
tolerate non-Muslims has led to ethnic cleansing of Hindus and violence on
a large scale in Muslim dominated areas. India being committed to liberal
values made a conscious decision of not reciprocating the Pakistani fascist
Islamic initiative of pushing out its Hindu population to India during the
last century.
India has a major handicap of poor leadership. The only bold action carried
out by India related to India's war with Pakistan in 1971 resulting in
dismemberment of Pakistan. That apart Indian Leadership has never displayed
the unity of purpose and commitment necessary to pursue national interests
and fight the totalitarian ideologies and their advocates threatening the
State.
But the forces of totalitarianism (Islam and Leftist Chinese inspired
Communism) have been at work for a long time now trying to weaken and
destroy India. Taking Advantage of the liberal set up in India the Leftist
Communists and Muslims have made numerous of strategic investments both
through media and through traitorous political agents to manipulate Indian
democracy and hence weaken India. This prevents the truth and facts about
Islam reaching Indian public. Even major national newspapers such as the
"The Hindu" have significant leftist presence and pro Chinese leanings.
In India reaction against Islam could be all the more violent on account of
the artificial cordiality that has been sought to be cultivated between
Hindus and Muslims by India's perennially mediocre politicians with vested
interests. It is a clear fact that Hindus and Muslims are as different as
cat and rat. So when reality hits, when Hindus arm themselves and start the
fight which will happen on account of fundamental reasons, the fights will
turn out real nasty.
India strongly needs active support from the free world in facing the
challenge of Islamic Terror.
8.5 Central Asia
Central Asia will be a key area in the fight against Islam. Uzbeks are the
largest ethnic people in Central Asia.
Because of the break up of Soviet Union, Islam got greater space to
operate, despite the local distrust of Islam and Islamic fanatics. The
Islamic terrorism got a boost from the Saudi Pakistani Wahabi investments.
The Wahabis and Deobandis have an objective to set up a mosque in each
Central Asian Village and for providing clerics with knowledge of Arabic
and Islam.
To placate the religious elements, the Uzbek Government has allowed the
number of mosques in the Republic of Uzbekistan to shot up from 80 in 1991
to 5,000 in 1998. The number of Muslims permitted to go on Haj every year
has increased from less than 12 in 1991 to 4,000.
Government of Uzbekistan still led by people who maintain distrust of Islam
is against advising women to wear a veil, using loudspeakers for the
prayers etc. The Mufti is still appointed by the State as in Singapore and
his actions carefully monitored. It is important for the free world to wipe
out Islam in Central Asia and make sure that Islam does not raise its ugly
fangs again in areas like Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
8.6 China
The other important nation is China, which has been fostering cooperation
with Muslim nations during the recent past. Being past masters in
duplicity, China is playing a double game. Pakistan is China's key friend.
China has been befriending Muslims as a low cost option to create problems
for her strategic competitors - India, Russia and USA. The idea is to
involve the energies of these nations in internal problems, while China
herself focuses on improving her infrastructure, maintains her burgeoning
oil supply requirements and modernizes her Defense Systems to take on US at
some point of time. In another example of Chinese duplicity, China has
signed a defence-cooperation pact and other economic and political
agreements with the Taliban while officially not recognising Taliban.
Chinese companies have been involved in the setting up of communications
systems for Talibs.
During the War Against Terror, observers would have noticed Taleban's offer
to hand over Osama bin Laden to 'neutral' China. A recent report in The New
York Times highlighted that a East European arms-merchant met bin Laden in
China (The arms merchant found out from a look at his Magellan GPS
receiver) to discuss getting hold of Ukrainian nuclear material and bombs.
A recent report also highlighted that the Chinese sourced from bin Laden
unexploded cruise missiles from the Clinton attack on Afghanistan -- no
doubt to reverse-engineer them.
It is a fact that many ordinary Chinese in South East Asia (Singapore,
Indonesia and Malaysia) understand and hence immensely dislike Islam.
Muslim goons in Indonesia in the name of Islam have been known to gang rape
Chinese women and murder their Chinese neighbors shouting Allah-hu-Akbar
(Allah is Great). However the leanings and views of the Mainland Communist
rulers could be different and still highly suspect in the War against
Islam.
The western leaders have to be extremely careful about the cards of Beijing
(Mainland Chinese) and the sincerity of China in the fight against Islam.
It is for nothing that Beijing has produced a video based on the ruins of
WTC terror attack damning America. Chinese like to disclose their cards
only in the last moment they may still decide to remain neutral.
The talk that Chinese may cooperate with US today on account of the threat
of Islam in (West China) Singkiang is baloney. China has handled Uighur
Muslim terrorists through Summary trials and executions in thousands and
through Demography Changes. Fertile Han Chinese settlements already make up
over 50% population in Singkiang. Any dissenting Muslim faces the prospect
of the Iron fist of the Communist Totalitarian System, which can be as
repressive as Islam is. Koran Study Meetings are disallowed and there is a
ban on construction of Mosques in China. Chinese even control the growth of
beard in West China. Chinese know how to deal with Muslims.
8.7 Coalition
America's close cooperation with India, Russia and Israel will yield higher
dividend in the War against terrorism. If US really means war against
terrorism, US will need committed allies. Israel, India and Russia major
powers in the Asian region possess equal if not higher commitment than
America to fight Islamic terrorism. European NATO members along with Japan
should support the coalition in the destruction of Islam.
9. CONCLUSION
Just as a dirty swamp breeds proliferation of pathogens, Islam has been a
breeding ground for terror and violence. Islam remains an ideology steeped
in medieval perceptions and backward values with a focus on violence and
primitive tribal instincts. Under the camouflage of religion, the ideology
of Islam makes it possible for criminals, terror merchants and men with
totalitarian impulses to operate freely and cause grievous wounds to
civilization and liberty.
The Great William Gladstone, British Prime Minister in the 19th Century, is
reported to have declared in House of Commons, British Parliament holding a
copy of Koran " There will not be peace in this world as long as this book
exists and people follow this book".
Muslims have initiated the present terror war post Sept 11, 2001; it is a
great opportunity for the free world to take the war to its logical
conclusion - total destruction of Islam, Devil's ideology. The devilish
faith of Islam threatens our most cherished ideals - liberty and freedom.
We have to ensure that the evil faith of Islam Dies..Fast..And with minimal
pain to the mankind.
The fight against Islam, a totalitarian evil faith needs to be carried out
through Missionary Zeal. As Barry M Goldwater, the US Senator highlighted
"Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue and extremism in the
pursuit of liberty is no vice".

An excellent idea, one though sadly wholly
fanciful as you of course well realise.
With regard to your exercise above in
substituting 'christian' for 'islam', though
I know -why- you would do that, you being the
kind, blind eyed and most considerate (to a
fault) warm hearted person you are, today it
is an invalid exercise, why? Well, islamics
are -still- behaving as primitives did in
medieval times, they have not evolved
culturally (i.e. they have not abandoned any
of the early imposed superstitious illogical
wholly foolish and thus highly destructive
behavioural 'rules' their religion in
medieval times demanded of them) to the
extent that today's civilised humans have,
and they are thus the grave threat to our
peaceful existence in contemporary times I
nominate them to be.
Now before you have a little rant about -our-
present day 'civilisation' (how our rules
today fall well short of your aspirations in
this specific regard), think of my contention
above in 'relative' terms, not in 'the
absolute', the absolute which is the ideal
which you have mostly in my though fully
acknowledged limited experience of you, have
aspired most nobly to. :-)
