I am pleased to announce the arrival of my son Harry Kevin Heath at 0740hrs
Friday morning. 9lb 11oz, exceptionally good-looking and healthy. Mum doing
well and continuing to stagger all and sundry with her fortitude and pluck!
Lucy is somewhat bemused by her little brother, and seems happy to try to
touch his eyeballs.
No surgical photography will be foisted on the unsuspecting public on this
occasion.

"fortitude and pluck" Spoonerism anyone?
Congrats mate.
ps. Is there some sort of Federal bonus for the "Kevin"?
alvey
Was this one Caeserian or Cuntular?
Congrats.
Well done all hands.
Mique
Thanks mate.
I knew someone was going to Spoonerise that, just quietly :)
No federal politicians were involved in the naming! Kevin is my father's
name. He's doing well to pretend he isn't secretly chuffed, but I get the
feeling young Harry will not want for Christmas pressies from Granddad.
I'll give you a hint, it started with a C.
Thanks Mike!

Well done, must get around some time for a viewing
Thanks mate, you must indeed. Well worth the trip!
Congratulations John. And thanks for the discretion this time.

Very well done.
While away, I witnessed my elder daughter getting wed at Byron Bay.
That was kinda fun...
CP
Thanks Quoll, but don't talk too soon...
Hmm, I note she did not take advantage of the mate's rates available to ASRL
persons and their kin at a certain wedding store. Nevertheless, congrats,
hope it didn't make you feel too old, and how long before you get some
grandkiddies?

Aren't you a Qlder?

I thought so too, but Byron is close by and quite nice. Perhaps the lass
married a cockroach?
Purity of race and all that.
Happy New Year

Nah, he's from Sarina.
They both like Byron, plus my daughter's mate who lives there and
officiated just got qualified/certified/whatever as a civil
celebrant. Prob'ly a Mates Rates deal.
Hmmm.
Perhaps they did spend too long in NSW...

What makes you say that? Have they developed a sense of common decency?
Not THAT long...

Surat dammit Surat. (It shits me to mislead, even over utterly
inconsequential things)
Now I'm repeating my wife's errors, god help me.
The end must be near...
Both are very Queenslandy types of places, no harm done.
You did expect me to respond when you, of all people, posted this, right?
O yes there is. The shame of replicating a SpouseError - particularly
one I've RIDICULED her for in the past - will haunt me to the grave...
CP
Au contriaire, my good fellow. It sounds like you have had this repeatedly
introduced in conversation, and it therefore cannot but manifest itself.
Here is an excellent illustration of the power of the subliminal -
incidentally it's well worth watching anything featuring this guy.
