Yes it is hard to believe. Julian O'Neill finally found somebody to put up
with his bad behaviour.

Brisbane's 'Sunday Mail' acticle failed to mention the most important aspect
of the marriage. Julian's new bride, Nicole Carroll is pregnant. The
article gave the false impression that it was the perfect union stating -
'Rugby League bad boy Julian O'Neill wed his sweetheart in a private
ceremony yesterday.'

The 'Sunday Telegraph' ran a similar article but added the precnancy
fator.......and yes, the bride wore white. Let's hope this is the turning
point for Julian, he is one of the most talented footballers in the current
game, but should follow one rule...'No Alcohol.'

99% of the footballing public would give their eye tooth for 5% of his
talent.

Ironically, last weekend the Sunday Telegraph (I think it was)
reported that the girl who had "turned Julian around" was booked for
you guessed it...drink driving.

What bad behaviour are you talking about? Not something that happened years
ago maybe? My information tells me he has been nothing but an inspiration to
his fellow team mates for his dedication to the club and off season
training.

That would make this "off-season" his good behavioural period Wade.

Appologies for the off-topic post, but is this really relevant in a
country where ~98% of women are NOT virgins at marriage?

Not at all. I think the original article was more about the different
angles covered by the Sydney and Brisbane papers, rather than the pregnancy
itself.

The Brisbane paper ran the story with all nice pics and didn't mention the
pregnancy, whilst the Sydney papers made an issue of it. I had both
articles side by side and the difference in the two stories was quite
remarkable.

I still don't know who the villain is. The paper that didn't tell us about
the pregnancy, or the one who made something of something that wasn't
relevant.
