1. attachments to this newsgroup ( aus.sport.sailing) don't work.
2. what sort of sails does it have? Are they Dacron,Kevlar,Mylar,d4 or what?
3. How tall is the mast?
4. what sort of keel does it have?
5. is there headroom under the boom?
6. since the sinking, has the motor been rebuilt?
7. what release did the DEA give the boat after the dog squad finished the
raid?

Couldn't help it!

The charter for aus.sport.sailing does allow for stinkpotters
and paddlers to post here until such time as there is a more
appropriate newsgroup. And private forsale postings are
allowed.

Aw, don't be too hard on him, must be hard to unload it & get back his 6-1/2
grand. Mum & the kids are probably bored silly with it, there's no fish left
and who water skis in Melbourne?

What surprises me is the comment "engine compression in excellent
condition".
Strange use of words. Besides, I hear he only paid 3500 for it, patched up
the holes in the hull and wacked a $500 heap on the tuck. Apparently the old
Chrysler 60s fit in the Johno cowlings etc.

You mean the photos of the engine compression in excellent condidtion? Don't
the water jackets become open to atmosphere before the compression becomes
like a dick in a bucket? unless it's been flogged to death skiing, but... in
Melbourne?

I don't know how much he has had his dick in a bucket. More than once I
would suspect. As far as wearing his jacket in the water, that is just going
for a walk down the street in Melbourne. I spent a week there one day. I
don't know what he was flogging, but my guess is it was not just a motor.

No not that kind of water jacket, I had one of those but you couldn't fit
the bucket underneath so I decided to just stick it out till I found a
suitable jacket. Shouldn't need the bucket in Melbourne anyway.

Well, if people didn't commence threads by CROSSPOSTING them and kept it ON
TOPIC. Other people wouldn't appear so bored. And, you probably sitting
there wondering why you get flamed.

Who is bored, looking at replies to a power boat ad on a sailing NG?
