I know I have been saying lately that Cricket's drug rules are over the top
simply because Olympic drug rule need to be over the top.

Well how about this one. Straight from Fox News:
SONORA, Calif. - A synchronized swimmer's three-month jail term for
vehicular manslaughter was postponed so she can compete in the Athens
Olympics

Now let me see. Was Warney's suspension postponed so he could compete in
the world cup?

All I can draw from this is that by Olympic standards killing someone is
less important than using a diuretic.

They weren't dropped - he was found not guilty. There is a difference.
Basically the magistrate couldn't decide who was telling the truth
between him and his ex and the matter couldn't be proved beyond a
reasonable doubt.
And "poor bloke" be fucked. He's a drunk and a thug who deserves to
come unstuck.

Love to hear Dick Pound weasel his way around that.

Nice to see you have more facts than the judge did. How did you manage
that?

No, but I've read the brief of evidence. More than some of the
"experts" in here. And this event isn't a one-off. He has form. I
certainly won't be supporting his inclusion in the Olympic team.
