HARLAND TRILOGY

Richard Harland has signed a contract with Penguin for the second
and third volumes in the Ferren and the Angel trilogy . He is
currently completing revisions on the second volume, Ferren and
the White Doctor probably due out in October.

IN PRINT
The Slow Glass Books Catalogue 144 (How gross!) lists two new
Australian books, Jennifer Fallon's Treason Keep (Harper Collins)
and Garth Nix's Lirael: Daughter of the Clayr (Allen & Unwin). A
proof copy of section one of the latter was available, and it
makes good reading. It's a sequel to Sabriel, which impressed me.
Theoretically a young adult novel, but don't let that put you
off. Erika Lacey reports "Just a line to let you know of the
existence of an SF book called Androgyny by Alison Venugoban.
It's been published by Homosapien Books
http://www.homosapienbooks.com.au/ in their new line Diverse
Connections."
