I suppose my nostalgia for Babylon 5 is what keeps me subscribing to this
ng. I remember thinking it was the greatest TV show ever.
However, I was in two minds about watching this 75 minute "movie", it being
such a long time since the original series, but I have and I enjoyed it - in
fact enjoyed it more than other stuff I am watching at the moment, but ...!

There are 2 connected tales.
I did not care for the story of the first tale, but I do like Tracy
Scoggins, ever since I saw her in episodes of Lois & Clark. Here she is
again as Colonel Elizabeth Lockley in a religious episode. I've read that
jms is an atheist, but he does seem to be concerned about religion - has
episodes about souls in the original series, and here we have a story about
the devil or a devil & exorcism.
I remember the eyes going black in the original series, but here we have
them going golden. In other shows about demons they go red.

The second tale involves President Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner) & Galen
(Peter Woodward) - nice to see these both again. Mention is made of other
characters in the show, such as Delenn & Londo, but we don't see them. The
story is not brilliant - again we have the moral dilemma whether it is OK to
kill a person to save millions. There is not much more to say about this
tale.

So David,

Did you enjoy the stories at all? Would you like to share with us any
criticism?

Here's what I wrote last year after watching it:

I have just had a look at that, and agree with everything you say.
Many thanks for the url.

To reiterate & clarify what I wrote below, I really enjoyed the show in
spite of the stories.
The second story was better than the first, but that is not saying much.

BTW I also used to write in "live journal" until I was not permitted to join
the SF community, on the grounds that I only had one friend there. I was
allowed to join the Stargate community. Anyway, I certainly don't need it
now.
