I've heard through the grapevine that ARG have or will be losing the
Manildra contract... Still haven't got much info to back this up so I was
wondering if anyone has some more details?

Craig.

I heard about this yesterday Craig. I was told that PN have picked up the
work. Do the ARG guys in the Sydney region have any other work?

Not as far as I am aware. The only work the company has in NSW is the
Manildra contract, though if QR wants to take on other work, it's already
well-established in NSW through it's ownership of Interail (despite ARG and
Interail being operated as stand-alone businesses - perhaps that may
change).

Craig,

I heard some more about this today. Apparently ARG's last day of operating
the Manildra comtact will be in mid November. I belive this is the only work
for ARG crews in Sydney. So it's not good new for the ARG drivers. Perhaps
PN will be looking at employing more drivers for this work?
