From the other side of the world, Bigpond is irrelevant to me, but the
problem of finding ISPs to do it at all, let alone properly, is universal.

Doesn't seem to create any problems - it is only the whackos that post are
sometimes indifferent.
Reasonably good newgroup coverage.
