I have tried searching for British and german Manufacturers on the web,
but can't find good online catalogues...
Any suggestions ??

A company called "Impetus" made a 4mm scale I & K class Manning-Wardle kit.
They were etched brass, I am not sure if Impetus still exist, but they made
some lovely models.
Another one for some nice kits is a company called "High Level" - they make
a very nice Black Hawthorn 0-4-0.
There are a few others that make Industrials, but they are the more modern
ones around, but they would be way too big in HO
I think that chivers have done a kit of an F class 0-4-0 Manning Wardle
Hope this helps a little,
Craig

We do kits for Wantage Tramway No7 (Modified Manning Wardle F classo
0-4-0) and LSWR Beyer Peacock 0-6-0 Saddle Tank, two of which worked in
Australia, I think at the cement works you mention.

G'day Kim,
Have you thought about the Fleischmann "Magic Train" range, the models are
relatively cheap, quite nicely proportioned and lend themselves to your
style of superdetailing!

As a result of the feedback I really do believe the description I read
that WWW is 'all the books in all the libraries in the world tipped on
the floor with the catalougues tipped on the floor in another city.'
(And off course how c***p the search engines are).
I reran some of my searches with limiters to some of the pages refered
to in this NG and by mail , and they still didn't come up !
Anyway heaps to look at and ponder
