Yes, one of the most speculated rumours
in the radio industry is that Stan Zemanek
coming back!

With the recent break through with Cancer cure,
morticians are exhuming the Stan Zemanek
corpse for re-animation and back on air in the new year.

Remembers you hear it here first.

Wasn't Stan Zemanek the shock jock who said that there was no such
thing as stress - and that even if there was, it couldn't cause
cancer? What did he die of again?

Ahh , but was it caused by stress?

In his case, yes.

So now you're an oncologist as well?

Look here you fool, stress does NOT cause CANCER.

Can I make it any plainer for you.

The causes of cancer are unknown - but it is strongly suspected that
stresses are a major component.

Not correct Coach.

Your homework would get a zero out of ten I suspect.

The major factors in the major cancers killing men (prostate) and
women (breast) are age and genes.

Of course it might maske someone in such a highly stressed occupation
as yourslef a little less important but those are the facts.

Yes, you're right. But are you saying that age and genes don't
directly relate to levels of stress? Most teenagers for example, only
care for themselves and only care about today - and they are very much
under-represented in the cancer rates. People who have stressful
jobs, usually have stressful jobs because they are sucessful and
educated - and they usually come from a long line of successful family
members - aka genes. That is why these people are over-represented in
the cancer statistics. It's not rocket science.

Shit the backpedalling started early in this thread.

The inventor of "stress" Hans Selye, attributed the rise in heart
attacks in the fifties to stress, he barely mentioned cancer.

There may indeed be a correlation between "stress" (depending on how
you measure it) and cancer rates but it is almost certainly not marked
by causation.

I'm not going to debate this with you any longer I merely responded
out of courtesy to see if you were genuinely interested in an adult
discussion.

As usual, you proved my first impression correct you troll.

FFS, cancer affects ALL races, not just caucasions. You have a one
track mind.

Of course you won't. That's because you done some research and found
that I'm right. A REAL man would just apologise and move along - but
no, not you.
