Once again, you have to learn to take a breath and listen to others, yep its a big world and there is other people out there that will know more about the network than you and I have not doubt that further up the feed chain there is people that know more about it than me.

CFA Command is very aware of the new channel allocations, and have been for some time, there has been extensive planning and interagency co-ordination with DSE and VicPol over this. Do you think we just decided to change things in the radios because we want to (or even to make your web site information no longer current), people have better things to do. Sorry but I do have the list (in several formats, exl, codeplug, hard copy). Take a breath and read between the lines, I might be paid to know the freq's. You can attack me all you like, I have nothing to prove, as I already know what they are, but you seem to want to attack anyone that offers you any criticism or advise that you may not be up to date on some of this info.
And besides, you never checked the DSE section(s) of the site which have = the other DSE chs in them.
Looked there, they are also no longer current, there is additions and minor changes in some of there configuration
If you really had the list you'd make it public. And they are not old = channel allocations as you say-all the channels stay the same with the = the addition of some new channels, it is not a complete review of the = enitre system as you put it. There's about 20 new chs i don't yet = have-not 250-like you claim. IT just fills in the gaps.
I do have the list, its not my place to be posting it to a public forum but I am aware that it is already public knowledge, I dont have to prove anything by big noting myself and stating that I am the only person that has a correct list of CFA channels. There is new freq allocations in the new list as well. I never stated everything was to change (in the current operational channels i.e. fireground and Metro VicFire channels), only ever pointed out that your list is no longer current. The new file loaded into the radios has only 3 spare places (just because you cant see them or access them, dont mean they are not there) Yes the old channels stay the same, but there is numerous new channels (infact all the gaps between the old channels are now filled with IMC's of which are new freq's previously not used by the CFA) and there is now the new Dispatch channels (6 of), the VMR (1 of) , IBR (1 of) and field repeater channels (8 of) and a few other changes.
And as it currently stands all the old info is what's still in use, with = only Region 15 starting to test, with everyone else still operting on = THE OLD INFO, which is-at this point-still valid. ON.y R15 and R22 have = had the new program installed so far, Melb gets it last.
Yes, the old is still in use, it has to be for operational purposes (it would be a bit embarrassing to have different channel numbers and names, also confusing in an operational incident, all radios still need to be inter compatible), but your source is partial incorrect, yes R15 and 22 have been reprogrammed last year. Other regions have also commenced reprogrammed. You might have guessed that one can't have every radio programmed over night, slight logistical problem in that, so there will be delays until all radios are reprogrammed (there is approx. 9000 authorised authority radios out there). It just means the the older version radios can't use any of the newer channels.
So we were both partially right and partially wrong, but i share any = info i can find with anyone-everyone, some scanner users like to be = greedy with thier info, ireckon if you had the new ch info then you'd = post it for all to see
I dont see how you have been correct at all, some time back another person posted to this newsgroup that there was new channels and channel names you replied along the lines that that person was wrong. All the time I have stated your information was (as in it was previously) correct, but is not now due to the new radio file being programmed into the radio. i.e.. there is new channels. You just failed to stop and take a breath and accept the fact that you dont have all the new info. I have made the info available to others (as have numerous other people), its on the net why dont you find it. I was specific in my constructive comments made to you, you even attacked me and since that time you have now found out that I was correct in what I stated. (Have not seen a whoops I was wrong in attacking these people that tried to tell me new info). I was going to provide the info, but you just got too cocky, so you will not be seeing it from me. I am sure that you will get the info, as its common knowledge.
Next time someone has something to say about the correctness of your info, take a step back and the time to listen to others, its one of the best way to learn. I could go further and point out some other minor errors in other parts of your website, but that would be petty and I am sure that you would tell me I am wrong, so why would I waste my breath, apparently in your eyes, what I have to say is not accurate.
So how did you go this morning, were you able to talk to VicFire (CCT) on Ch201 on your Eltham radio. Did you take the time to check what version was programmed into the radio? my guess is it was not V8.

I will always publish any radio frequency information I can get my hands on
or any info from any organisation that uses radio signals. Have you
forgotten listening to any radio signal(other than pstn calls) is fully
legal and so is publishing any info one may find. THat's why I've got a

him and overhead this)even though i've never seen, let alone used, a pistol

i didn't start going through people's desks or something- I just picked up
any 'rubbish' which helped me make my orginal CFA channel list, not my fault
they forgot to shred it. And took notes on anything I could find pined to
the wall-since when was taking notes and bieng observant a crime?

and will be available later today. Now using two other versions of v8 i've
been sent and this info i have all the details of the new system.

before the new chs go online. Will the CFA be impressed? Probably not. Will
volunteers want the info? Probably some will to re-program thier listening
sets. Would I remove it if the CFA asked. If it's a $$fine, then no, more
than 3mths jail time then yes I would remove it from my site and post it
somewhere on the net from a public library (that doens't have cameras)
without booking the pc. (No record of your attendance at this pc)

this) that in USA a guy was arrested for cordless listening got off the
charges as his lawyer successfully argued that a radio signal-as it

wasn't this guy listening to the phone, but rather the failure of the
telephone user to make sure his signal didn't pass the scanner users
antenna!!.

Can't say I have ever seen any of Allison's rants but Speed is like
