Hi all,

Does anybody have any experience with these units?
Are they any good? Are there any reviews available?

I did a web search and turned up nothing of any use.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Regards
Troy

Hi Troy,
That's a pretty serious accessory that you're talking about mate! They're
£250 in the UK ($350US) plus shipping. You can find out much more at
http://www.aoruk.com/ard2.htm and can even order direct from there (although
I'm not sure if they ship outside the UK).

Personally, I'd invest in AirNav Suite V3.1 at a cost of around £50. Works a
treat once you've got your sound-settings correct. You can find out more
about that (and Acars in general) at my website www.ar3000.info

I'm considering the Airnav ACARS decoder as well (at much lower cost), but
lugging around a laptop is a major drawback. That was the main reason I was
interested in finding out more about the ARD-2.

I would not waste my time or money on Airnav products. I personally have had
nothing but headaches with their products. Their support sucks, and they
nickle and dime you to death for "upgrades". You would be better served by
finding a company like flyte trax that services your country or region.

Good luck and regards
