Is there one? I can trigger a couple way off in the distance somewhere,
but clearly they aint Canberra ones.

If there is one, I would assume its down for some reason?

Hasn't been one for a few years. At least since 2005. Not sure why.

I can usually hit Captains Flat ch4 and Wamboin (Bungendore) ch6 from my
northside location.

Thanks for the info.

These must be the two I can trigger also because the channels match.

UHF Channel 4 repeater near Captains Flat has been unwell for a while,
so if you're hitting something on Ch4, it's not it! Currently
completely offline until we instal the new antenna we've bought.
Previous one experienced one too many lightning strikes.
It is owned/maintained by the Captains Flat Rural Fire Brigade
(www.captainsflat.org and follow the link of the big red truck).
It is actually situated on Horseshoe Hill a few km South of the
village.

Hi Mike. We can do some simplex testing between Canobolas and Old Joe
in a couple of weeks if you like. I've got Canobolas from there before.
The ACT MRC station this year will be a good 900m higher up still
(same as 2006), so I'm pretty sure there will be no probs when it comes
to game day. Let's just hope the weather/firebans hold.

I will try to remember to post here when the Horseshoe Hill Channel 4
repeater is fixed. We're looking at early April 2008 at the earliest.

UHF Channel 4 on Horseshoe Hill, near Captains Flat, should be working
again now.

Feedback on its performance would be greatly appreciated (as I have
some doubts about it...)
