I'm hunting down the right company - or individual - to assist me in
syndicating several talk radio ideas.
Experience in radio - preferably talk - obviously a must. So too the
right contacts in the marketplace. In an ideal world the company or
individual will have sound experience in securing and structuring
sponsorship.
Any hands up out there? Any recommendations?

Nice home page, Brett.
Hear Hear!
Brett, whatever show you do (and I wish you every success), let's hope it's:
* at night
* broadcast on AM radio somewhere in SE Australia
so that we've got a chance of hearing it here in Melb (even if we need to
make an AM receiving loop).
Regards, Peter
Mr. De Hoedt... an aboslute honour to have you here at this newsgroup.
Loved Hootvile on 3AK weeknights.
NOW syndication you want to talk about, ahh you've found me the ideas
man.
***Let's put up a few ideas and contacts for you.
# MCM Entertainment.
MCM is part of the austero group (I believe).
MCM is responsible for the creation, syndication and sales/sponsors
for...
Take 40 Australia
The Hot Hits
Planet Rock
Rick Dee's weekly Top 40 (from the USA)
My Generation
Loaded
The Cage (weekend edition)
Jox Tools (segments)
The great thing about MCM is that they have their own satellite,
allowing live broadcast if you/they wish. (most programs though come
via CD)
I think MCM would be the best way to go.
Best person to speak to there would most likely be Vicki Christo.
A contact email for MCM Entertainment is in...@mcmentertainment.com
studios and office are located at:
level 8/ 140 bourke st,
melbourne 3000 australia
Others Brett include...
# CBN Media
This is Charlie Brown's company.
He produces the Cybershack and sells it as well.
His program is sent to RG Capitial Stations via the SCB Satellite.
Might be worth emailing.
con...@cybershackonline.com
# Captain Cooke Productions.
They produced the Smash Hits Radio program, before they scrapped it.
They still are producing Kerang Radio (rock program).
However they do it via CD distribution.
email is in...@captaincooke.com
# Golden Years Media.
Again like the above it send programs via CD.
They are sending Golden Years to stations in WA, VIC and QLD.
Well Brett hope that's is good enough for you, and I'll try and send
you this via email as well (plus I throw in a few ideas!)
Hope to hear you back on-air soon.
CrowdedHouse (was a loyal listener, well for 3 months anyway - hey I
was interstate before that!)
Mr. De Hoedt... an aboslute honour to have you here at this newsgroup.
If you can score a job there, your instantly on FM in Bendigo and Mildura.
If you can score a gig at 3AW at night, your LIVE across Victoria on AM, and
FM in NE Victoria (3NE FM's)
Southern Cross Syndication website has more http://www.scsyndication.com.au
Of course, there's always the community network, known as CBAA doing
talkback on a Sunday night 8pm onwards.
Unsure what other options there are out there, But there's bound to be
something waiting to jump out, and for you to grab it

Many thanks to everybody for the lowdown. I appreciate it.
I've had some good leads and will be pursuing them all.
I'm always happy to hear of any new wisdom.
Cheers
Brett.
