Does anyone know if NSW based Greek culture station Radio Symban
(Radio Universe) is still transmitting on their shortwave frequency of
2368.5 KHz (126 metres)
and are their mediumwave transmitter licenses on air?

I tuned in to 2.3685 MHz via GloalTuners receiver in Logan City QLD
and no carrier detected.

Wollongong 173.325 FM *
Central Coast 173.325 FM *

(* not found in the ACMA online Spectrum Search tool)

ACMA lookup results found the following:-

Indeed Pete it's kind of a curious situation.

If any of the Aust. Broadcast forum members are driving past the Radio
Symban / Radio Universe
2368.5 KHz (126 metres) shortwave transmitter installation at 177
Victoria Rd Marrickville NSW
can you check to see if their vertical monopole antenna with the
capacity hat is still erected on the building roof.

I drove past on the weekend, and yes it is still there, looking bright
and shiny and new.
