Sydney and gosford radio picked up in port macquarie

Hi Everyone,
Well there was some weird atmospherics today in Port Macquarie. I was
driving along the Cathie Road and my radio when I started tuning
locked onto 104.1 2WAY FM and I stayed with it till almost into Port
Macquarie but when it did fail I rescanned the dial and locked onto
2GO. It was pretty amazing being able to pick up these signals all
the way past the golf club, into Marbuk Drive and then into Crestwood
drive where I again picked up 2DAY FM. This was between 2pm and
4.45pm.

Well the inverse also occurred, I got the Manning River and Gunnedah
stations today on the car radio in Sydney today.

i use to listen to Nova 969 2day1041 and mmm1049 clear in newcastle
and maitland area
I could on a clear day pick up mmm sydney in scone NSW
At least you could listen to some thing in port other than the shit
stations thay have there...........

Peter,

In Rockhampton Qld the conditions were going as far as Gympie with
Zinc96 booming in, it was a shame it was going much further south.
Also heard Bundaberg and Maryborough quite strong, and some close
signals from Gladstone and Biloela. It was good to hear both left
and right channels of KIX FM for a change as the one in Rockhampton
only has the left channel :)

listening to a great signal from 1053 2CA Canberra. Lost it near the
Foster turn-off.

Not really, these were fm stations
