naw... I m not Glen but I DO like listening to him. Check out Survey 4
on weekend
afternoons on 2UE which is where he
shines after being picked up by them after getting the chop at 2GB/

He worked his guts out there and was treated poorly;

He came up well on 7. Max Power thinks he is OK 2 in this Flashback

It was an absolute disgrace what 2GB did to Glenn Wheeler, and I am glad
it backfired severely on 2GB.

In a nutshell -
Glenn used to host Midnight-Dawn on weekends, as well as a weekend
afternoon segment when the football wasn't on. It was a grueling
schedule which he handled very professionally. Wheeler had a huge
following, particularly in his Midnight-Dawn timeslot.

Wheeler worked very hard, also making special appearances at 2GBs
outside broadcasts.

2GB later poached Malcolm T Elliot (pompous wanker) from 2UE, and
Wheeler was told he would have to make room for this so-called
"megastar" by giving up his weekend afternoon slot.

Wheeler told 2GB to shove it. If they're going to remove him from
afternoons for Elliot, they'll also have to find a new Midnight-Dawn
host. He left 2GB on short notice leaving them red faced and unable to
find a suitable replacement for weekend Midnight-Dawn for many many weeks.

Malcolm T Elliot lasted a couple of months at 2GB then seems to have
disappeared.

Weekend Midnight-Dawn is now hosted by Frank Crook who has no charisma,
has a monotone voice that puts you to sleep, and plays lots of bad music.

Contrast this with Glenn who was a true entertainer, had lots of energy,
and kept the audience engaged throughout the wee hours generating an
almost cult-like following.

Glenn Wheeler was a huge loss for 2GB.
