Well, what did you expect? The Amateur population is mostly old men, a
goodly number of which got into the hobby during and just after WW2, and
even with the Foundation licence bringing in new blood, amateurs are STLL
dying off at a great rate.

People do not live forever. These are the people that fought for this
country so that people could enjoy the freedom of expression that you make
use of. They have enjoy life to the full just by having a ham license.
