from there mouths is unbelievable, they made sexist degrading remarks
about another amateurs wife trying to belittle her and her husband to
there audience. The pom VK2VBH has trouble putting a sentence together
without the word f*ck in it, How do they get away with this, cant we get
something done or is this the start of the end !!
There is plenty of people on air that rub me up the wrong way as there
is probably for everybody else so I just move frequency rather that make
a comment. . . but to attack somebody's wife or partner or radio has to
be the lowest form of amateur operator and I think we don't need them on
the band.

complaints have been passed onto the ACMA and WIA with no response or
any commitment to address the situation, in the case of the WIA, who I
am a member, they seem to be a paper tiger in respect to dealing with
complaints against other amateurs and are reluctant to approach the
ACMA with these concerns, it appears that the WIA does not fully
represent amateurs when it comes to this issue.
It is VK3CWM usual carry on whereupon he will find a conversation on
80m and deliberately drop cariers, whistle, cough, make stupid noises
and finally start accussing everyone of being a disgrace to the
hobby....in more recent times purposely attacking Foundation Calls on
80 / 40 m.
The sad part is that neither the ACMA or the WIA have the guts to stop
this and it is a sad fact that the only way that these individuals will
cease operation on the ham bands is to cease living and in which case
may not be for many years..

Radio" some months ago that if reports made to the ACMA appeared
ignored or that if no interest was taken, that the WIA would take up

The epic continues.............
For a considerable time the friction between VK4VFX, VK2UW and VK3CWM
has heated the airwaves.
As an operator and a person who sleeps minimally, I have had the
opportunity to have heard first hand, the goings on between the
aforementioned parties.
Many of us who have heard these transmissions may wonder if we are
20Mhz off frquency but alas we are not.
The behaviour and content of the transmissions from VK3CWM and VK2UW
leaves a great deal to be desired.
I am not privy to the nature of the "bad blood" between the operators
of these stations and VK4VFX, but clearly VK3CWM and VK2UW have
overstepped the line regarding that, which is acceptable so far as the
operator of an amateur station is concerned.
I have never heard VK4VFX say anything to them apart from behave and
suggest they act correctly.
Better than I would have done in the situation.
The slanderous and derogatory rubbish, not to mention threats of
physical violence which have been transmitted by these anii (plural of
anus) is not to be tolerated.
The use of an amatuer radio station as some sort of anonimity is not to
be tolerated either.
Those who choose to use their radios as some kind of expression and
demonstartion of their male appendage are to be pitied.
The ACMA has demonstrated their impotence and lack of interest in the
amateur bands.
We are deemed to police our selves.
Therefore, I call upon those of you who are physically near the
obnoxious scum who infect us with their poor behaviour, to inflict
summary justice upon them.
Go to their homes, house's and shacks, and cut the coax that connects
them to the outside world.
Severe the umbilical cord that connects them to us and rid ourselves of
the faeces that pollutes us.
The VK3s who live near the imbecile who is the main point of contention
should hang their heads in shame at not having done something about
that fool in Bendigo.
He shames us all.

licence conditions and should be reported to ACMA if the tape is the real
thing. I came over to Amateur radio to get away from this sort of behaviour
that seems to be the norm on the CB bands and have found the ham bands to be
a breath of fresh air with some great people to rag chew with. If it goes
the way of the CB bands then I will have to find another hobby, I hope not.

It appears VK2UW is of the mistaken belief that my ebay handle belonged
to Stu Clutten VK4VFX.
This misconception probably also explains why I and at least one bidder
that I am aware of , received a number of threatening emails from a
ficticious email address, during the listing of another item i recently
sold on ebay, (ip addresses disclosed the offender/s)
Folks, you will be pleased to know that all correspondence has been
passed to the relevent investigations people at ebay and the
consequences will likely be dire for the offender/s, I guess he/they
will find himself banned from yet another internet site. (sic)
I can honestly say in my 30 years in the hobby I have never seen
anything quite like what we are currently seeing, I dont quite
understand why someone (VK2UW) who clearly doesnt like a particular
fellow amateur (VK4VFX) sees the need to drag the entire amateur
community into his personal vendetta and agenda , I would have much
preferred not to become involved in this discussion, however, given
that my ebay affairs have been misused and abused by VK2UW as a

Perhaps you would like to do the honours and deal with the potential legal
consequences yourself?
Because unless you have absolute, irrefutable evidence, you:
A: wont get anywhere
and
B: open yourself up to a number of legal vulnerabilities should the
accused choose to pursue the matter. And given the nature of the person in
question, if he has the resources you can be certain he will exploit those
vulnerabilities.
If it was an open and shut case the WIA would surely pursue the matter.
I'm not a WIA member either, just being realistic.

I have been using the Amateur HF bands for 12 months now. This type of
behaviour is not uncommon. There are some very rude operators around
VK. The rules and regulation on Amateur Radio is a joke but how serious
can you make a hobby. People with mental disorders and unresolved
personal problems are every where INCLUDING Amateur Radio. The WIA and
AMCA do not want know about name calling and the "F" call that's
using 100w, From what I have seen so far unless you are interfering
with commercial users, transmitting out of band or interfering with
emergency operations, do what you want, the proof is in all the chat
rooms from all around the world.

If you read all posts regarding Malcolm Moore of Herbert Street Bendigo
you would also have read that efforts have been tried since some time from
1978 to now and all that is received from the Department is that
"We are looking into it and we will do something about it soon"
As I said, this has been going on since 1978 when he was terrorising the CB
operators, they decided to join the Amateur ranks to get away from him, but
he followed, then unfortunately, the local radio inspector felt a bit of
pity for him and let him pass the Novice exam, then later allowed him to
pass the full call and morse test, and this was after five attempts.
I was there at the exam and passed first time, so I could sit back and
observe the rest and Mal was the dunce of the class.
But before that, he was attending Bendigo TAFE for theory lessons on Ham
Radio and electronic practices with Ron Graham and Ron was getting flustered
every session because of Malcolm's dumb attempts at the answers.
I believe the only reason that Malcolm was not restricted in following this
hobby is because of his father Hal Moore who was a respected Amateur Radio
Operator and who, again unfortunately, put ion a good word for him and gave
excuses for him all the time and Malcolm has learned from his father on how
to overcome the Authorities by manipulation of words.
I was taught in law classes, that the best method of defence is attack and
this is what Malcolm is efficient at.
Regarding cutting co-axial lines etc.,
this has been tried and Malcolm Moore ran to the police within a virtual
minute and accused almost everyone of doing it, including myself, didn't
matter that I was living in Melbourne, 150 kilometres away, but because I
was the most vocal towards him that he surmised I was the one

I think that we need a touch or reality here!
ACMA is only interested (If interested at all) in Amateur Radio
operations for the fees, and probably would prefer or not even notice
if it ceased to exist. Why would they be concerned about a bit of
profanity somewhere they never listen?
I spoke about lack of appropriate action by the Licensing authority to
the local federal MP some time ago. He had no idea what AR was or
seemed to have little interest in learning. His view it seemed as that
a few radio freaks in his constituency would not make much difference
to votes he would receive next election.
The original notion that AR would provide a pool of technically
qualified operators in times of emergency in not a necessary option
these days, that is of course if we can genuinely consider that we are
so qualified.
The WIA. We all know that legal fees can be astronomical, far beyond
the capacity of this organization, especially considering that the
membership/total OZ Ham population ratio is abysmal! Not forgetting
the possibility of numerous appeals and the high risk that the
offenders could be legally back on air immediately after all the
hassle and being even more smug and obnoxious.
I am sure that employees of ACMA do their best under the
circumstances. However gone are the days when such government
instrumentalities have sufficient experienced staff to do the job.
Unfortuately for us an overloaded system results in only the really
important tasks being attended to.
Sadly AR rates well down or maybe not even on the list of importance.
Should we really expect officialdom to be concerned about a small
group of overgrown schoolgirl types squabbling on Ham bands? Maybe
they expect ALL of us to have grown up by the time we qualify for the
licenced!

The only F Call I know of personally that has caused massive QRM and
problems to the bands is Greg VK3FMAN
