Wanna help fight corruption at Australia post?
Spread this via Google Groups, Wordpress.com blog, Petition sites
The corrupt officials we are targetting, and the reasons why, are:
- Alex Twomey, media spin king who is constantly trying to minimise
the hurt of Auspost on licensees
- Ian Kerr, inactivate Chairperson of POAAL, who contributes nothing
to it, and has backdoor corrupt agreements with Alex Twomey
- Marie McGrath-Kerr, the mother of Ian Kerr, who finances her
husband's travels overseas with POAAL money

Feel free to add more. Naming and shaming them is the only way they
will CEASE AND DESIST.

Australia Post has tried to harass Juen Phie (accountant offering
services to Angela Cramp) with posts such as:

Hey, you know this is not all! Australia Post, in trying to harass
Angela Cramp, went WAY further than Cramp reported on TV. Cramp is
incredibly nice and just said that they said something like "you might
find another post office (i.e. a competitor) up the road 500 meters
from you". This is not all. The corrupt Australia Post management
requested the Australian Federal Police to attend to one of Angela
Cramp's post offices, to try and make it seem like she did something
wrong. SHE DID NOT. This is how far these corrupt officials are going.

I’m sorry but I own an LPO and I’ve never had to get lawyers involved.
Yes, we are all aware Australia Post is ripping us off, and POAAL is
doing nothing (inaction of the chairperson of POAAL, Ian Kerr’s
mother), and they are definetely bullying and harassing LPO owners as
per the ABC investigation… However, aren’t you aware the Supreme Court
rules require you to go into mediation before going to court? You
should do what Angela Cramp ((Warilla, Lightning Ridge, Shellharbour
LPO) is doing and keep Auspost honest by filing LPO11’s. If lots of
people do it… lot more effective than lawyers, right?!

There are two main groups servicing LiPOMS audits you should try:

Jeremy Shum from LPO11.com (yes, they are the ones with the cute
little red post box!!). who is offering a “free LiPOMS audit” and
“advocacy for LPO11 on a no-win no-fee basis”. The General Manager
there holds a law degree and was involved with the Burnside council
through its $2.1m McPherson report cover up, so they are positioned
for dispute resolution, so you can ensure strong advocacy. And since
it’s 100% free, and the advocacy is no-win no-fee, there’s nothing to
lose except your dissapointment!

Juen Phie from Growth-Solutions. He has set up another website at
lpoadvice .com. It seem as if though he hasn’t inserted any
information on his “fees” so its hard to make a judgment, although as
it is outlined above it should be less than $5,000. The services they
provide include due diligence, tax returns, lending/borrowing/
refinancing, business strategy, LPO brokerage services, and tax
minimisation. LPO Advisor is positioned as an accountant, so you can
probably be sure to have good financials. As I understand all you need
to do is email admin [at] Growth-Solutions .com.au. I’m sorry but I
have no information about the cost of advocacy either, they may not
provide it not sure.

But its good to know in 24 hours more than $20k is raising, this is
quite amazing.

All I can say is that 5 firms of solicitors is very expensive, they
charge like crazy, and you should try mediation, seriously. I know you
say “do we live that long?” in rhetoric, quoting $5k+, several years,
30-40% of gross profit, 50% of cap value… and I’m sure the solicitors
you’ve quoted could do a good job, but the average mother-father LPO
can’t afford to have lawyers representing them.

I have no doubt that some people have problem with LPO11 “freezing”
the current position, until the LPO11 5-part process is fully
completed. And yes they are trying to isolate each of you fellas. I
just like to ask its 3 years later 2011, what have the solicitors/
barristers done?

Like I said in the other article, you should try the LiPOMS audit
service at Juen Phie or Jeremy Shum’s. I’m trying to understand if
they are in fact the same service, as Jeremy Shum seems to be a
Partner of Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Technology
Group at P&Y Partners Management Consultants, which is a firm that
Juen Phie owns, and apparently Juen Phie is an accountant at David Sen
Chartered Accountants.

Nevertheless, it seems they have started a website at http://lpo11.com
where you can submit your e-mail address and lipoms

Howard Dimond, why do you think AP NSW has tried to destablise a
harmonious national agreement? They are trying to divide and conquer,
obviously!

Mike Odhavjee, I totally agree with you, I agree Terry Ashcroft was
awesome!

Surenval, yes, a sense of comradship, happy mood, pride of belonging,
allegience is great :)
So you say accounts with Tudor (suppliers of Reflex paper) are more
competitive prices?

Angela Cramp, Public Liability from Willis Insurance in Melb for $165,
is great news. Why did POAAL move from their preferred insurer from
Willis to another group? Hmm… I wonder if there is any corruption
hahaha. Willis Australia Ph 1300780282 direct line to Magdalena … cool
I might switch

Arnie Dural, you should try http://lpo11.com they offer no-win no-fee
advocacy from heavyweight laws :) But I think there is a catch… you
need to get a free LiPOMS audit, but hey… why not?!

Bill Pidding (Winston Hills LPO) I agree there are some problems with
lagging changes to fees (e.g. 50–>55c); compensation for customer
taking a money order without paying for it; storing large parcels
outside AP’s max specifications to take shop area. Definetely major
issues, whats come of it?

The only thing I disagree with Angela Cramp is it hurts customers if
we send back large parcles. I think there should be compensation from
Auspost. Also, if you send back parcels, customers will complain, and
Auspost has a reason to hurt your post office… get what I mean?

Angela Cramp, I need to admit that Auspost is a media spinner. If its
so “very, very, very small” number, it wouldn’t be the 50% that the
ABC quoted as being underquoted. It was a relatively large sample, and
was randomised as required by statistical study. As I understand Juen
Phie and Jeremy Shum from http://lpo11.com have a large collection of
information of so many LiPOMS, would be interested in them making
public declarations of the extent of underpayment. i guess Auspost is
to the chase to try and stifle these fellas however hahaha

Bill Pidding, as for POAAL, haven’t you heard the news about Ian
Kerr’s mother? Apparently, her husband is overseas, and she
misappropriates the Auspost money for the airplane tickets for her
husband, using it for work purposes. I would say I would love to see
an ICAC (Independent Commission into Accountability and Corruption)
investigation into this.

Angela, so you think this guy - Robert Chizzoniti, the POAAL committee
member, said it would all be fixed… when you sai “wait with baited
breath”, I assume you mean that you have been baited, and tricked,
with spin, given your message was in 2008, and its 2011 and its still
not fixed.

Harold A. Ashcroft, Business & Real Estate Agents (est 1935), I would
say that there would be anti-competitive law applying to this if AP is
trying to force you to sell only their “approved” products. Could be
allegations of corruption involved, if this is the case haha? All this
law OVERRIDES your contract!! And yes, as it says in Clause(11d) of
the Agreement, Auspost must use best efforts to maximise sales of
products/services to MUTUAL benefit of Auspost as well as LICENSEE.

As media spin king Alex Twomey (who now apparently works at the NSW
Premier’s office as a media advisor or something) said, its NOT GOOD
for Auspost to hurt their licensees, but this is EXACTLY what they are
doing!

Go and see Juen Phie and Jeremy Shum chartered accountants at http://lpo11.com
like I advised elsewhere…

Terrey Hills, I say that if you want to address concerns of unethical
competition, why don’t you talk to Jeremy Shum (law), Juen Phie (acc)
and the guys at http://www.LPO11.com. If you are not paid to scan
parcels, do the LPO11 and get those guys at LPO11 to shake em a “fair
shake of the ole sauce bottle”, quotting Ruddy.

Surenval, if Australia Post is luring your biggest clients, YES it is
unconscionable conduct. You can screw them over in the Trade Practice
Act

Howard Dimond, you make me laugh $2 fee to help get signed copies of
documents to passport office, this is excelelnt idea, you legend!
