Thanks for the list.

I will make sure that I now spend double with them.

LOL!

Latest Sportsbet odds on Federal Election:

Coalition 1.25
Australian Labor Party 3.50

And bringnobrainalong is on record in this newsgroup as saying that the bookies never get the election odds wrong LOL

Notice the way out price for ALP $3-50.

No doubt Sportsbet is trying to get some money from moronic ALP supporters so they can balance their book!

On Monday the list of sponsors who cancelled their support for Jones
included Coles, Woolworths, Mercedes-Benz, ING Direct, Dilmah Tea,
Bing Lee, Freedom Furniture and the finance management firm
Challenger.

Honda Australia announced on Tuesday it had instructed that all its
advertising cease on 2GB and Hyundai said it was withdrawing ads from
Jones's show.

The Australian International Motor Show has also withdrawn its
advertising from Jones's show.

Volvo Car Australia said it was carefully considering any potential
future advertising on 2GB.

Telstra said they advertised ''from time to time'' on the show but had
suspended this advertising. ''We take matters like this very seriously
in relation to public sentiment and the reputation of our brand,'' the
statement said.

Three regional radio stations have also announced they will no longer
run Jones's show.

And he's also been shat on by his pet project by being axed from an
anti-coal seam gas rally planned at Murwillumbah.

Let's hope that arsehole gets nailed to the fucking wall.

Any remaining sponsors obviously agree with Jones' comments and should
be boycotted for the scum they are.

The ones who have dumped Jones must be boycotted for the gutless
bastards that they are.

Bit like you, really.

# Whatever you may think of Alan Jones and radio station 2GB, it is
interesting that Freedom of Speech can in any way be influenced by presence
or withdrawal of commercial finance.
But then, radio, like newspapers, depends on commercial advertising, and
if there is no finance, then you cease to operate. Moral: Don't offend your
sponsors!
Which is probably why you'll never get an outright socialist agenda
published in any capitalist Media. "Free Enterprise" just wouldn't allow
it.
Rightwing shock-jocks are OK, but not Leftwing.
But even a Rightwinger can go too far.
In the USA, special interest Lobbyists virtually control Congress.
Which is why the Presidential (Executive) race is a side-issue.
Legislatures rule, OK?

Harvey Norman is the latest company to dump Jones.

That let's them off the hook.

Now what are the names of the other bastards sponsoring Jones'
program?

2GB is trying to shield them by removing the list of advertisers.

Harvey is regretting that move!
Seems the customers left Harvey Norman because of it

In Australia Christianity is important not because of the power it wields, but because of the power it denies others!
The only Legally defined God in Australia is our Christian God, whose compound redemptive name is Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Christian Constitution demands our political representatives need to be able to make oaths to our legally defined Christian God

That's only to placate the mindless bogans in Western Sydney and in
shitholes like Campbelltown.

If Harvey's regretting it he would resume advertising on the women-
hater's program, but he ain't.

> > Seems the customers left Harvey Norman because of it

I'm sure that homosexuals, racists, the uneducated, and fools who
infest Western Sydney would be costing him some money, but he'd stand
to loose a lot more in the educated, higher-earning districts if he
didn't dump Jones.

Thanks for the link.

I see that Slater & Gordon Lawyers and McDonald's have also both
withdrawn support.

Two more down and only a few to go.

This is a list of the decent, ethical and moral advertisers who have
dumped that twisted woman-hater, Jones, over the last four days:

Honda, 7-Eleven, St George, Freedom Furniture, Dilmah Tea, ING Direct,
Lite n Easy, Mercedes-Benz, Challenger, Bing Lee, Coles, Hyundai,
Virgin, Telstra, Slater & Gordon Lawyers, Geeks2U, Momentum Energy,
Grace Removals, NRMA Insurance, McDonald's, Ford, Turner Freeman
Lawyers, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, John Oxley Motors, Jetset Travel,
Mazda, Commonwealth Bank Women in Focus, Australian International
Motor Show, Foxtel, Cruisescene, Harvey Norman and Woolworths.

And these are three advertisers who endorse Jones' malignant views by
still advertising on his women-hating show:

Mazda
Oporto
Bupa Health Insurance.

Again, thanks for the link, AStext, we now know who to boycott
