but Hugh Laurie plays one on TV. I've been around for years but not in
Christian groups. I spent most of my time on Usenet talking politics.
Then for a while I was on science fiction groups. Then in 2008 I came to
alt.christnet.christianlife (ACC) using the nic Jayne Cobb. I probably
should have changed names as I switched groups because science fiction
readers would recognize the name Jayne Cobb more ofter than the general
public. But I didn't think of that at the time. When I noticed a certain
confusion and it got to a certain level I shortened my nic to JC to
remove any gender markers.

But I wasn't thinking that all the way through either because in
Christian Groups "JC" is most commonly used to denote someone who I am
unfit to wash His shoes so I needed to change it again. Season 4 of
House M.D. had a nice ending so I thought I would go with that.

As for the blast from the past - I slowly began to realize that this
conflict I've been in since I showed up in ACC (and foolishly blerted
out my opinion) had roots that were much deeper and had been going on
for like five years. People were dropping names (Gritz) and dates so I
looked back in ACC's history and what I found looked shockingly like
what happens on ACC today - many of the same players doing the same thing."

The phrase was used upon the occasion I demonstrated my waterboarding
technique by raising a jug of water to one of the patrons (ashley), with
respect to a cafe I frequent: ROYS Famous, which is situated opposite a
house of prostitution.

Anthony the proprietor of the cafe took exception to my calling him
dishonest in the provision of goods and services--past patrons such as
Rene Rivkin, who had a history of dishonesty in business, on 1 May 2005
took his life!

My concern, to use the analogy of Jesus' arrest, trial proroguing and

In the crazy, trouble filled world in which we live, it appears that we
have finally hit bottom. Really. Consider all of the muck that has been
brought to light over the past few months.

Of course, this is not to imply that the ripple effects of all of these
monumental challenges have been fully felt. Nor does it mean that there
is no more additional bad news in store for us. Still, we seem to
finally have gained a greater grasp of the challenges which confront us,
and the ways in which we got ourselves into this mess. The long, painful
healing process can now begin in earnest. Perhaps we can glean some
additional insight into this process of decline and restoration from Tu
B'Shvat, the traditional New Year for trees.

Tu B'Shvat (15 Shvat, celebrated this year on 8 February 2009) draws our
collective attention to nature's inherent cycles of deterioration and
growth. The botanical realm follows a steady, predictable pattern of
budding and development, and, eventually, stagnation and decay, only to
be followed again by a new period of advance and vitality.

Yet for all the good intentions at showing proper and due respect, who
can forget the great moments of Skunk and Pisswacker in which heads of
state have engaged, which seemingly undoes the solemnity of the
occasion--three most prominent examples being:

a) Prime Minister John Howard touching the previous Pontiff Jean Paul
II, in a manner like Paul Keating's back slapping of the Queen. This
occasion brought a characteristic sideways and disapproving look from
the Pontiff, as if to say: "How dare this profane feral animal touch me so!"

b) Then there was the occasion that the US President later attended this
same Pontiff's funeral and sub-ordinated the sovereign autonomy to
regulative freewill of the American people above that of the church
city/state, by kneeling before the corpse lying in state.

c) Apparently the former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi has
since given George Bush some practical lesson regarding respect for the
dead and kneeling before sovereign heads of state.

d) All this fades into obscurity, when one recognizes, that Laura Bush
wore an inappropriate fashion statement as an affront to Pope Benedict
on his state visit to America--That haughty couture by a courtier (the
President's wife) snubbed the Pope.

Someone recently told me, as justification for why they couldn't be
regarded as anti-semitic, is that their father a practicing Catholic,
spent 2 years in Hitler's prison for refusing to join the Nazi party.

But we will raise the continuing equivalence of your anti-homosexual
stance with fascism and Catholicism signing of the 1933 concordat to at
all times show due respect to duty to State and the principles of the
Nazi Party to which they claimed to be in accord.

Similarly the Uniting Church minister and New South Wales state
parliamentarian Mr Fred Nile says, "We're not anti-gay, our policy on
this was formed 30 years ago and we have never been pro-homosexual. We
are pro-marriage and pro-family. We believe God made Adam and Eve, not
Adam and Steve. If Mr Moyes does not agree with us he should never have
joined [us]."

I've heard that the Anglican Church of Australia, in dialogue with
athiests, are even considering recommending overturning the blasphemy
laws--seems that they won't be able to do so in relation to the
accusation of hypocrisy and fascism being raised against them and the
former military service, Governor General Michael Jeffrey and Prime
Minister John Winston Howard with respects to their impropriety, impiety
over the August 2004 passage of marriage laws and turning a blind eye to
the continuing culture of injustice towards racial, sexual and religious
vilification which is Australian Society.

These rabid fascist Irish Catholic dogs need to show a greater respect
for the Commonwealth--the atheist ones are particularly feral mongrels
who are a disease in this country. Another month or so and I should have
my project sufficiently progressed to present a human rights complaint
to the Dutch consulate--bypassing Australian justice altogether as immoral.
