The entire Parliament was sacked, for treason under Whitlam
Constitutionally Parties are not recognised. So when a Government was
found to be removing ties to USA and Britain's orbit moving towards
that of the Communist and Third World powers, with strong support for
the "Arab lobby", Britain and USA would of found that treachery.

Arab financiers offered lower interest rates on governmental loans
than US banks/financiers. The Middle East at the time was awash with
"petro-dollars", as the price of oil quadrupled between 1973 and 1974.
Whitlam allowed Saudi Arabs to build a Mosque in Sydney/Lakemba.
Whitlam was a immoral communist working to remove ties to USA and
Britain's orbit moving towards that of the Communist and Third World
powers, with strong support for the "Arab lobby".
https://is.gd/IzhkxL

Whitlam did not want anti-communists to settle in Australia,
irrespective of whether they were genuine asylum seekers. Here his
stance differed from the position he took following the overthrow of
Salvador Allende's left-wing government in Chile in 1973.

Whitlam said on the ABC that Australia did not want “another
reactionary right-wing minority”. Foreign minister Don Willesee
pleaded with him to take more. Whitlam replied: “I’m not having those
f..king Vietnamese Balts coming into this country with their religious
and political prejudices against us.”

Whitlam opposed the entry of Vietnamese refugees, saying they stirred
no sympathy in him. He added: “There will be some resentment about the
people coming to Australia at a time of unemployment, and also people
from a very different way of life.”

In other words, Whitlam consciously stirred up ethnic and racial
prejudice against Vietnamese because he thought they might be
politically hostile to Labor.

The 2 letters sent to Tennis Australia in November by the Department of
Health and the Minister for Health made it crystal clear to Tennis
Australia what the conditiosn of entry were for International
travellers. Djokovic needed to be double vaxxed to get in and unless he
was, he didn't have a valid visa.

Maybe. However so far the international reaction doesn't seem to
indicate that. Other Opens are indicating that they won't allow players
to attend who aren't double vaxxed.

Regardless, this debacle (which seems to be all of Tennis Australia's
own making) is much more entertaining that the tennis itself and it's ad
free and it will go on for days and weeks. Such good value for money in
terms of entertainment.

What went wrong for Djokovic?
Under Australia's federal system, states and territories can issue
exemptions from vaccination requirements to enter their jurisdictions.
However, the federal government controls international borders and can
challenge any exemptions granted by states.
Novak Djokovic travelled to Australia after receiving an exemption
from the Victorian government, granted after a process that included a
panel of health officials.

GOVERNMENT SHOULD EXPLAIN, NOT DJOKOVIC
Novak Djokovic did not issue his exemption, "experts" did.
Novak Djokovic did not issue his visa, "experts" did.
Who has the explaining to do?
It doesn't appear the answer to that question is Djokovic.

Certainly allowing antivaxx morons into the country just because they are
"celebrities" or some sort of sport "heroes" is bad health policy.

BTW the initial exemption was issued on he basis that he has already had
COVID.

Here is some more news on this subject:

Novak Djokovic's visa cancellation*

*Key points*

- Border Force says it is investigating two people with an exemption
letter from Tennis Australia

- Novak Djokovic had the same exemption, but his visa has been
cancelled

- Djokovic tried to enter Australia on the basis that he had
contracted COVID-19 in the past six months

BS. He got the initial exemption because he was a profits generating
"celebrity" providing full bullshit excuses. Yet again business interests
were put before health and safety measures. We were lucky that this time
it did not succeed unnoticed.

Antivaxx BS - flush

This virus and all of its strains have excellent abilities to overcome
"naturally acquired" immunity. Vaccination plus booster plus a follow
break through infection is so far the best combination to reduce the
severity of this disease. Unfortunately the immunoglobulins (IgG)
(natural or vaccine induced) are not fully effective against this virus.
The secondary cellular response (B and T lymphocytes) is what keeps
people from dying but only after full vaccination.

Ergo, we are dealing with yet another episode of total government
administrative fuck up!

Busting Petz's idiotic far-right hate propaganda sig is as follows:

> The problem with socialism is that you
> eventually run out of other people's money

Typical hard-right lie-bertarian propaganda slogan.
No one is spending "other people's money", so I can only conclude the
person saying this doesn't understand socialism. "Means of production,
distribution, and exchange" is the key phrase here. That doesn't mean
everyone's wealth is redistributed, Robin Hood style - it means that the
factories and corporations that provide goods and services to society are
publicly owned and regulated. This isn't too dissimilar from a public
stock exchange.
So I suppose if one's understanding of socialism is to spend other
people's money, then I suppose they're just doing it wrong.

Nope.
Wrong date.

"In late February 1848, the Manifesto was anonymously published by the
Workers' Educational Association (Kommunistischer Arbeiterbildungsverein)
at Bishopsgate in the City of London. Written in German, the 23-page
pamphlet was titled Manifest der kommunistischen Partei and had a dark-
green cover. It was reprinted three times and serialised in the Deutsche
Londoner Zeitung, a newspaper for German émigrés. On 4 March, one day
after the serialisation in the Zeitung began, Marx was expelled by
Belgian police. Two weeks later, around 20 March, a thousand copies of
the Manifesto reached Paris, and from there to Germany in early April. In
April–May the text was corrected for printing and punctuation mistakes;
Marx and Engels would use this 30-page version as the basis for future
editions of the Manifesto."
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Communist_Manifesto>

Of course the Manifesto is just a tiny except of Marx's equally important
econopolitical analytical works on capitalism stretching over decades.

That's bullshit as far as reinfection is concerned.

Pity about all the reinfections in Brazil, and that
wasn't even with Omicron which is much more
infectious that the strains seen in Brazil.

We don't know that given that we haven't had covid for years.

Just because some fool journo claims something...

And even that fool doesn't provide any evidence for your claim
that infection and recovery from that is better than vaccination.

His stupid claim that reinfection is rare is just plain wrong and Brazil
proves that.
Doesn't say anything like what you claimed.

As per usual, you did not bother actually reading the article, let alone
follow up on the provided references:

Here is the one key references listed related to antibody titre decline
over time:
covid-19-antibodies-last-8-months>

However, that was well before the Omicron variant mutation of this virus.
Omicron has been a significant mutation defeating the antibodies to
previous variant to a high degree.

Firstly, he declines to say if he has been vaccinated or not, and
declines to say if he had Covid or not.

And you do not get natural immunity by catching Covid; you can catch
it again (who fucking cares if he does) and you can be a carrier.

Leaked document shows Tennis Australia sent out an information sheet
informing players of a process to follow so they could play in the
Australian Open without being vaccinated
This is the smoking gun that proves Tennis Australia wrongly — and
knowingly — told the world’s best tennis players, including Novak
Djokovic, how they could play in the first grand slam of the year even
though they knew the proper rules for players who were unvaccinated
against Covid was not as clear cut.

An information sheet, obtained by News Corp, was emailed by Tennis
Australia to the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) early last
month, then passed on to the world’s top players.

The document shows that Tennis Australia informed players there was a
two-step process to follow so they could play in the Australian Open
without being vaccinated.

The advice included a clause where players needed to prove they had
contracted the virus in the last six months — which is presumed to be
the basis for Djokovic’s exemption, which was withdrawn when he
arrived in Australia.

But the problem is that the information forwarded to the ATP and
players was incorrect, and Tennis Australia had already been told
that.

What is the harm of for the Democrats validating the voting system.
Is it because the Democrats have something to hide?

Amazing to think that Lyndon Johnson perfected the

Nothing wrong with it. But the voting system was solid enough already to
withstand the Trumpist cult stealing the election (in spite of the
attempted violent MAGA insurrection a year ago)

That does not mean the US could not do better with a ground up voting
reform trashing the gerrymandering, killing off the electoral collage
system, introducing uniform voting management across all states, moving
the day of voting to the weekend, stopping all GOP created laws and
regulations aimed at voter suppression ... etc..etc...etc...

I don't think that is yet clear. I've been trying to find out what the
2 independent panels were supposed to have done but since neither of
them has anythign to do with Visas, I'm still at a loss. ATAGI only
gives advice and has no decision k=making power and God knows what the
Victorian panel was doing. And additionally, it seems that the Visa
application got a computer generated tick from the Feds so IMO, it's all
still as clear as mud. It does seem like the Tennis Aus group were
involved in the 408 visa application process somehow. Still lots more
meat to be found in this farce.

I don't think so (at least so far based on what I can find out -
HOWEVER, I do think Morrson et all are takign advantage of an issue that
isn't passing the pub test and I can't blame them for that). So far it
seems that a human should have assessed the visa application rather than
a computer. I don't know enough about the process and I really couldn't
be bothered to ring someone I know who could tell me how it works.

All well and good but the two letters sent by Hunt and a health dept
official to Tennis Austrlai in November make it crystal clear that
having had Covid (at any time) is not a reason to be granted a visa. I
want to hear what was actually on his visa application (in detail) and
how/why that generated a computer generated visa for Novak. I'm nt sure
we'll ever get that level of detail, but I think that is central to this
saga.

Fran

I don't think that is yet clear - was it really a computer generated
tick for Novak's visa application OR did a real live human being
consider it - so far the only reference I've seen to this was that it
was computer generated. If this is true, that IS a govt cock up and
needs attention to fix it as these tennis people won't be the only ones
slipping through the net and getting into the country but that is not
deliberate on the part of the govt (other than the fact that they've
deliberately ripped the guts out the APS).

Really interesting stuff I've found this morning but now we've got
counter claims from Tennis Aus (which really, gvne the letters of
November from Hunt and his dept will need to have a HUGE change in
advice to them off the hook and to be able to blame the govt). At ths
point, I think on the balalnce of probs. it's looking (so far) like a
Tennis Australia stuff up:

Tennis Australia doesn't get to OK visas.

Australia immigration doesn't check compliance with our
visitor requirements, business visas which is what he had

His visa was initially cancelled because he could not
show that he had complied with our rules that state
what a visitor to this country has to have to visit.

>>> (2) he did not and does not have Covid.

Claims he had, anyway. But that is likely to have been
faked so that he didn't have to show that he was fully
vaccinated given that he was swanning around groups
of kids when he claimed to be infected and giving an
interview to the BBC too.

The experts never said that either and would

It isn't clear what strain he was infected with in December

The government argued that Djokovic must be expelled because you, the
Australian public, are stupid.
https://t.ly/XAFt
Specifically, you are so stupid that your opinions and beliefs about
medicine, science, Covid and vaccinations may easily be swayed by the
temporary presence here of a Serbian athlete.

That, in essence, is the total argument presented by Immigration

A perfect picture of all that's wrong with lefties -
I'm miserable & someone else is to blame.

If the Left so strongly supports 'diversity'
why do they spend so much time trying to close down

'Diversity' is the new Orwellian doublespeak,
a Leftist propaganda tool to disguise the fact
they are trying to create a more uniform,

So on the visa application form there has to be a loophole about medical exemption. Meaning if you had the disease you need not be vaccinated as you already had immunity, or were at risk with vaccination. Vaccination can kill, and this is well known. So some people weigh the risks and do not vaccinate. Novak may be one of them.

That was not mentioned when it was cancelled the second time.
Any lie on the visa application form has serious consequences.
Why was this lie not pinpointed by the Federal Govt.?
A conclusion is that Novak did not lie in his application. For that lie on his visa application was not exposed. His visa was not cancelled for lying, but on public health and order grounds.

>
> In fact he had no such thing.

It cannot have been a lie, for if it was, the Federal Govt. could easily expose it.

True, but as most people are now fully vaccinated he could not harm them even if he was infected, which he was not going by standard tests.
Had he been infected he would be a health risk and so immediately quarantined as is the usual practice.

> > His own health is more at risk.
> Irrelevant to what we require of visitors to this country.

What is required is a legal visa.
Which is what Novak had.

It is to many what the visa cancellation is all about.
Concern for public health on such specious grounds seems to many to be an excuse.
Quite rich, seeing how two unmasked chaps from NSW spread Covid in Victoria last year and got off easily.
The suppression of talent, if found to come from unpopular sources is
Nothing new, nor unfamiliar. 10 titles and the all time greatest badge would be way too much to swallow, what.
When was Novak popular in Melbourne?

Well, Mr Morrison is an adroit politician.

A business visa, which he got, is automatically granted if you
tick the right boxes on the application form when outside the
country. But when you actually arrive in the country, Border
Force requires you to prove that you have complied with the
conditions we require for entry to this country by visitors.

We require visitors to be fully vaccinated or to have a valid
medical exemption to vaccination. Once he had arrived in
this country, he could not satisfy Border Force that he did
have a valid medical exemption and so his visa was cancelled
and he was detained, prior to being forced to leave the country.

He then got his local lawyers to appeal the visa cancellation.

>> > When was it granted?
>>
>> Weeks before he showed up.
>> > What were the forms filled for application
>> > saying about Covid vaccinations?
>> He lied when he said he had a medical exemption.

> So on the visa application form there has
> to be a loophole about medical exemption.

It isn't a loophole, it is an exception to the requirement to
be fully vaccinated we impose on visitors to this country.

> Meaning if you had the disease you need not
> be vaccinated as you already had immunity,

That is not a valid medical exemption in this country.

> or were at risk with vaccination.

That is not the case with him.

> Vaccination can kill, and this is well known.

But covid has a much higher risk of killing you so that is not considered
to be a valid medical exemption under our law with visitors.

If visitors don’t like our conditions, they are free to not visit this
country.

> So some people weigh the risks and do not vaccinate.

Visitors are free to not vaccinate, but if they refuse to be
vaccinated, they are not allowed to visit this country.

> Novak may be one of them.

He is in fact a strident anti vaxer and a "natural" health nut.

> That was not mentioned when it was cancelled the second time.

Because that isn't a valid medical exemption in this country for visitors.

> Any lie on the visa application form has serious consequences.

Only in the sense that it sees your visa cancelled. And he did lie
about where he had been in the weeks before landing here.

> Why was this lie not pinpointed by the Federal Govt.?

Because that wasn’t the main reason his visa was cancelled the second time.

> A conclusion is that Novak did not lie in his application.

Wrong, we know that he did. He claims that his agent ticked
the wrong box on where he had been in the weeks before arriving,
but he should have checked the form before submitting it.

> For that lie on his visa application was not exposed.

Yes it was, but wasn’t included in the second hearing before
the full bench of the Federal Court because that was not the
most important reason for the second cancellation of his visa.

> His visa was not cancelled for lying, but
> on public health and order grounds.

Correct, but he also lied on his visa application.

>> In fact he had no such thing.
>> > What were the loopholes involved if any?
>> That lie about having a medical exemption.

> It cannot have been a lie, for if it was,
> the Federal Govt. could easily expose it.

Wrong.

>> >> (2) he did not and does not have Covid.
>> >
>> > How then is he a health risk?

>> Being unvaccinated he is at higher risk of
>> getting infected before he arrives here and
>> on the plane for many hours on the flight here.

> True, but as most people are now fully vaccinated
> he could not harm them even if he was infected,

That’s wrong too. Full vaccination does not prevent
all infection with covid. In fact the breakthru rate
with omicron is about 70%.

> which he was not going by standard tests.

See just above.

> Had he been infected he would be a health risk and
> so immediately quarantined as is the usual practice.

But could still become infected here.

>> > His own health is more at risk.

>> Irrelevant to what we require of visitors to this country.

> What is required is a legal visa.
> Which is what Novak had.

No he did not, which is why his visa was initially cancelled
by Border Force because he could not satisfy Border Force
that he had complied with our requirements to get a visa.

>> >> (3)This is bad for Australia's tennis reputation.
>>
>> > But very satisfying for those who do not want Novak to win.
>> > And there are so many of them.

>> That was never what the visa cancellation was about.

> It is to many what the visa cancellation is all about.

Many are irrelevant. What matters is our law.

> Concern for public health on such specious
> grounds seems to many to be an excuse.

They are wrong.

> Quite rich, seeing how two unmasked chaps from NSW
> spread Covid in Victoria last year and got off easily.

They weren't visitors to this country. Different law applies to them.

> The suppression of talent, if found to come from unpopular sources
> is Nothing new, nor unfamiliar. 10 titles and the all time greatest
> badge would be way too much to swallow, what.

Nope, its been true of other foreigners.

> When was Novak popular in Melbourne?

On previous visits.

> Well, Mr Morrison is an adroit politician.

That wasn’t the reason for the cancellation of his visa, twice.
