The Artful Codger

Oh, I'm a Modern Artist,
As artful as can be;
Who likes to splash about with paint,
And charge a whoppin' fee.

I can paint a luvly 'orse,
Like nothin' seen before,
You can hang it upside down,
And folks'll still say, "Cor!"

I can get my chimpanzee,
Or my infant child,
To create a Work of Art,
Which'll drive the suckers wild.

My works are most Symbolic,
You need "the Seeing Eye";
But if you want possession,
Then kiss your cash "Goodbye".

What is Art, but Skill, eh, mate?
At which I am crash hot;
While if you want a Likeness,
There's always the Snap Shot.
