MCG parking

Anyone know if you need to pay to get into MCG carpark with motorbike to
get down to the concourse section where they all park? And what's the
best entrance point (coming from north).

The easiest way to park your bike at the MCG is to come down Brunton
Avenue from the Jolimont Rd end and just after you pass the driveway for
the AFL headquarters and the second pedestrian overpass there is a
driveway which is blocked by bollards which you can ride through. From
there I think you're on the concourse which runs around the perimeter of
the ground but every time I've been I've just parked right.

Note it's been a few years since I've taken the bike to the MCG so I
can't be certain it's still permissable. but that area is right off the
road so you're not having to push through too many pedestrians on the
way in or out, nor queueing up with cars getting through one of the
official car park entrances.
