Well, we don't have to do it like that, but it _is_ time for another net ride.
Let's put a long lead time on it so we get lots of takers and make it in 1
months time, say Sunday the 30th June.
Offers of theme/routes,etc... appreciated. We haven'd done the Harley one yet.
One that covers the Brisbane ranges would be excellent. Stuart!. You know where
the Bluff is. You must come.
OK, let's make it the ups 'n' downs run through the Brisbane ranges. Yes, they
are in Victoria.

Tony.

This is a bit weird; although I have always talked to my bikes, I don't
recall any of them ever saying anything - other than "Puttputtputt"
(Bruce the Z250), "Ringningning" (Jezebel the RZ),
"VROOOOWWWWMMMMCRACKLEBURBLEBURBLE" (Thorfin the FZ) and
"crunchbangbangtwangticktickthwack" (Boadicea doing what I think was
missing a gear). Perhaps it's because my Japanese is not very good.

Dear Tony the Payne
That is a bad idea. My idea of navigation is "follow the tail light in
front" - I can't make it from one side of a supermarket carpark to the
other without a couple of sherpas and a supply dump halfway to the fruit
and veg. If I was navigating, we'd all end up in Timbuktu, or possibly
Coburg.

I'm getting to know the suburbs around Ivanhoe and Heidelberg Heights. I can
even get from Ormond to said suburbs w/o consulting the map... Oriel Rd still
throws me sometimes.

I had a look at a 1993 Edition 22 Melways. The Brisbane Ranges appear in
the bottom left edge of Key Map A (no contour lines, sadly).
There is a unnamed road that runs between Thompson Road and
Bacchus Marsh-Mt Wallace Road. This road looks like it might lead
through a "bluff". Probably worth investigating, anyway.

Maybe find a few new ups and downs? And a few bits of Harley? Oops!

The ride sounds like a great area for me to get more experience on the
GSXF. Rather than squaring off my backtyre riding it in the city.

Not quite, I think you were reading it upside down or something, it
means,
"Boadicea, don't think things like that about Tony, if you miss and
damage your undercowlings on his thick skull Mummy will be very upset"
:-)
Actually, it's more along the lines of "What's that noise you're making?"
A useful sentence to know if you ride Japanese machinery

I thought it was the maintance/service shops!!!! B) <Harley goggles>
With out sounding like inviting myself into an unknown group, (You lot
sound like you've talking togther for a while), the ride sounds like a
good one.

Either that, or an "urbane gorilla" (once the GSX-R bits go in).
