Anyone know if the old 60's Honda Cub 65 had turn signals, or if they were
optional and could be added later? This is the bike that looks like the
classic Honda 50 -- step through design with scooter-like panels in the front?

thanks in advance.

Hi Bruce...

I had a look in Roy Bacon's Honda History book and the early cubs looked
to have no turn signals...however I would believe that it was all down
to individual regulatary factors. I am restoring (amongst others) a 1967
Suzuki U50 stepthru. It has indicators as do two others from the same
era I purchased for parts.

If Suzi had them I would think Honda would follow suite in Australia...

Hope this assists...kiwipete

I have a super cub from 1963, which only had the clear glass
(plastic)lenses without anything inside. I live in Norway where
I bought the Honda. On other markets (Germany, Netherland, GB)
the bike had working turn signals.
