What farkles you doing to the strom? The TKCs are ace but not that good on the
bitumen. Increase your braking points by 20%.

not much this time, a DR650 folding tip gear lever, front fork brace,
the front forks revalved and the springs modified, the rear shock
rebuilt and revalved..

thats to go with the SW Bash plate, Touratech GPS mount (work of art),
H&B crash bars, Staintunes, Heated grips, Givi Racks, top box, Air Hawk
and the front nose/headlight taken off

I kinda gather the TKC wouldn't be so great on the Bitumen, but the
decreasing the braking distance on the dirt by 80% will be a bonus

mh
(although I did struggle to keep up with a Capanord with a TKC on the
front in Tassie earlier this year, so did a few others)

Let me know how the front brace goes. I hear they are a must have for the
strom. You got a Madstad bracket? Best thing since sliced bread.

What did you take the front nose and headlight off for? Weight? Got any pics?

hard to say, I had the front springs modified, the forks revalved and
the TKCs put on all at the same time, but the front is as tight as
could be.

no for 2 reasons, I have a K3 DL1000, its got a fixed screen and I
have no nose..read below

mainly to protect it, there is about $2000 worth of stuff there, and
the way I was throwing it through the bush, it was the cheaper option

That looks great. Where did you get your tank infill panels from? Glitch? I
just sold my 1000 so I only have the 650 now.

there is no infill panels, its just completely naked
If I had the time I would take a mould of Pete's infills and start
turning them out in either fibreglass or Carbon Fibre (it could be a
good little money spinner)
I just don't have the time or room ATM

if anyone is wondering what we are talking about (the black pods on
the front half of the tank)
