"Animal welfare group to monitor farms with drone"

No - you have to learn to walk before you can run.
Seriously, another instance of leftist fuckwits trampling on privacy and
encroaching on property rights.
"The group says the drone can film from as low as 10 metres above the
ground to gather potential evidence of animal abuse.
Spokesman Mark Pearson says the practice will not contravene trespass or
privacy laws".
So if you own property, someone can frack up the ground beneath you and
someone else can buzz around 10 metres above - all you 'own' is a 10
metre thin strip.
"He says animal welfare is in the public interest".
Sure - so is everything is leftist loony land - what you eat & drink,
what you smoke and even what you watch on the internet.
"But the head of the Northern Territory Cattleman's Association, David
Warriner, disagrees.
...
He says farmers would not put up with drones that could hamper
helicopter operations on outback stations, and disrupt livestock.
Mr Warriner says he expects some farmers would shoot down the drones".
Good man - let the games begin.
I would go further & send a drone to monitor Mr Pearson 24x7 and see how
he likes it.
Leftist morons
