iMac Help - Outlook Express

I am new to Mac, and am having some trouble adjusting. Using 500Mhz G3,
128MB, OS 9.1.

My questions regard using email with Outlook Express 5.02 with IMAP mail and
news.

1) How can I stop "caching" messages for my INBOX? I have a nu,ber of very
large emails, and I would rather just download headers until I actually want
to read the body of the mail.

2) How can I get "sent mail" saved to my IMAP "sent mail" folder, rather
than the local one?

3) Often times the mail seems to be 'purged' from my INBOX and other
folders. I open OE and get my mail, click on another folder, and then back
to INBOX, and the messages start to dissapear! After a few random clicks
they sometime come back. How can I stop this?

4) How can I sort NEWS as threaded in order of latest original post?

5) How can I "watch" news?
